Virgin River's Brady star addresses his fate after season 7 twist
Ben Hollingsworth has teased Dan Brady's fate after the latest season of Virgin River concluded with a devastating twist.
Virgin River star Ben Hollingsworth has broken his silence on Dan Brady’s shocking motorcycle accident that concluded the latest season of Netflix’s hit romance drama.
The actor has revealed that he does know whether or not Brady lives or dies, but he’s keeping his lips sealed for now.
Netflix’s new chapter of the long-running hit series followed Mel Monroe (played by Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) considering the next step of their relationship after tying the knot.
Mel’s patient Marley (Rachel Drance) offers them the opportunity of a lifetime to adopt their baby, but the new life is also hanging in the balance when he’s born with a serious heart condition.
As the baby is raced to Los Angeles for specialist care, Brady suffers through a cataclysmic event of his own when he crashes his motorbike on a stretch of road.

The accident occurs soon after he finally reconnects with on-off love interest Brie (Zibby Allen) in a steamy rendezvous on top of the very same vehicle that could have caused life-changing injuries or possibly even worse.
"I couldn't believe it. At first, I was like, 'Is Brady done on the show?'” Hollingsworth has since told Entertainment Weekly.
"The moment you read it, it does send a little chill down your back and make you think, is this the end?"
Brady’s crash may have concluded his long-running ‘will they, won’t they’ romance with Brie in a single instant.

At the very least, fans will likely witness a long and painful recovery from serious injuries in the next season. At worst, Virgin River may be saying goodbye to one of the series’ most beloved characters after charming Netflix viewers for seven years running.
“It's tragic, and Brady is such a tragic figure,” Hollingsworth continued.
“The guy should never get involved with gambling, because he would never win anything, ever. He's got the worst luck in the world.”
Although the signs aren’t currently looking good for Brady remaining unscathed, the star did remind viewers that this isn’t his first near-death experience.

After surviving a stabbing in season four and escaping a fire unharmed just days before the crash, Hollingsworth is remaining optimistic that he’ll pull through.
"He's a durable dude. He's durable!” he added. “So I'm going to hold out hope that he stays durable.
“I think Brie has a thing for guys in a hospital gown, because there was her next to Brady when he got stabbed, then her next to Mike when he got shot, maybe this is all just one giant scheme to seal the deal.
“If we see Brady wearing a hospital gown in season 8, it's a good sign."
Virgin River is available to stream on Netflix.
