A "disturbing" true crime documentary series that leaves viewers experiencing "nightmares" has been issued with a caution to those contemplating watching it.
True crime enthusiasts are only now discovering a harrowing series they find impossible to stop watching, and it is available to stream online in its entirety.
Initially released in America in 2021, Ken and Barbie Killers: The Lost Murder Tapes examines two infamous killers in Canada who seemed glamorous outwardly, but inhabited a horrifying reality.
The four-part documentary series is available to stream on HBO Max, which British audiences can access through an additional subscription on Sky, Now and Prime Video. It can also be viewed on Discovery+.
Running across four episodes, an official synopsis states: "Ken and Barbie Killers: The Lost Murder Tapes: A glamorous couple becomes Canada's most notorious killers", reports the Mirror.

Hailed as the ideal viewing for true crime devotees, the documentary series includes interviews with legal specialists alongside family and friends.
One IMDB reviewer described the series as a "disturbing yet compelling documentary that exposes the depths of human evil". They added: "Ken and Barbie Killers: The Lost Tapes (2021), now streaming on MAX, is a chilling and heartbreaking documentary."
Another penned: "This was hard to watch, hearing about how messed up and psychotic these killers are. The documentary was well done, wasn't confusing and very informative. 4 episodes was a good amount too, not too much."
