What time is The Testaments released?
Dystopian drama series The Testaments launches tomorrow (April 8) on Hulu in the USA and on Disney+ in the UK, meaning British viewers won't face any delay in watching the show — unlike with its parent series The Handmaid's Tale.
Disney has confirmed to the Mirror that episodes of The Testaments will be landing on streaming platform Disney+ on Wednesday mornings.
Hulu is yet to confirm an exact release time for The Testaments; however, episodes are expected to follow the same pattern as original series The Handmaid's Tale, which dropped at 12am Pacific Time and 3am Eastern Time.
A Disney+ subscription now starts at £5.99 and includes hit series like Rivals, Only Murders in the Building and The Bear, plus countless titles from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and more.
Should the show drop at precisely the same time in both the UK and the USA, this would translate to 8am in the UK, meaning British viewers on Disney+ could be tuning in early on Wednesday mornings.
The Testaments comprises 10 episodes in its debut season, with the first three instalments dropping simultaneously to give audiences a taste of what's to come.
The remaining seven episodes will then roll out on a weekly basis on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the USA.
