The Testaments cast in full as Handmaid's Tale spin-off premieres

The Testaments boasts a brand-new cast – here's where you might recognise them from.

Dystopian drama The Testaments is set to hit screens tomorrow (April 8) on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the USA, reports the Mirror.

Viewers will be treated to the first three episodes of the 10-part season in one sitting, with the remaining instalments dropping weekly every Wednesday.

The series is set just four years after the events of The Handmaid's Tale series finale and the uprising in Massachusetts, following the young women of Gilead as they prepare to fulfil their duties as wives.

Who is in the cast of The Testaments?

Aunt Lydia - Ann Dowd

Ann Dowd reprises her Emmy-winning role as Aunt Lydia in The Testaments, having earned widespread critical praise for her performance in The Handmaid's Tale.

Dowd has also starred in HBO's acclaimed series The Leftovers, as well as Compliance, Philadelphia, Mass, Hereditary, and Garden State, amongst numerous other projects.

Agnes - Chase Infiniti

Golden Globe and Bafta Rising Star nominee and star of One Battle After Another, Chase Infiniti takes the lead and narrates as Agnes MacKenzie.

Infiniti has been thrust into the limelight off the back of the film and previously appeared in Presumed Innocent, with a forthcoming role in The Julia Set.

Daisy - Lucy Halliday

Scottish star Lucy Halliday portrays Canadian teenager and Pearl Girl Daisy, who develops a connection with Agnes.

Halliday garnered widespread praise for her performance in Blue Jean and is also set to appear in James McAvoy's directorial debut, California Schemin'.

Aunt Vidala - Mabel Li

Australian actress Mabel Li takes on the role of the formidable Aunt Vidala, having previously impressed critics with her work in New Gold Mountain.

Paula - Amy Seimetz

Actress and director Amy Seimetz, recognised for her work in AMC's The Killing and Family Tree, steps into the role of Agnes' stepmother Paula.

Garth - Brad Alexander

Brad Alexander portrays Garth, with previous appearances in Netflix's You and Lynley.

Shunamite - Rowan Blanchard

Rowan Blanchard takes on the role of Gilead princess Shunamite, following her starring roles in Snowpiercer and Girl Meets World.

Becka - Mattea Conforti

Mattea Conforti plays Agnes' closest friend Becka, boasting credits in The Sopranos spin-off The Many Saints of Newark, NOS4A2, Power, and The Calling.

Aunt Gabbana - Zarrin Darnell-Martin

Zarrin Darnell-Martin portrays the stern disciplinarian Aunt Gabbana, having featured in Netflix's Ginny and Georgia, Spotlight, Snowbound for Christmas, and Memory of a Killer.

Aunt Estee - Eva Foote

Eva Foote takes on the role of the sympathetic Aunt Estee, following appearances in Murdoch Mysteries, Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, Nikia, and Sally. She is next due to appear in The Miniature Wife alongside Matthew Macfadyen.

Huldah - Isolde Ardies

Isolde Ardies portrays Huldah, a Plum and a companion to Agnes at the academy. She has previously featured in Netflix's Wayward, Murdoch Mysteries, and Ruby and the Wall.

Jehosheba - Shechinah Mpumlwana

Shechinah Mpumlwana takes on the role of Plum girl Jehosheba and one of Agnes' classmates. The emerging talent has featured in Rookie Blue, Blue's Clues and You, Creeped Out, Lyla in the Loop, and Dino Ranch.

Miriam - Birva Pandya

Canadian actress Birva Pandya portrays Agnes' fellow Plum Miriam, following appearances in Netflix's The Umbrella Academy, The Love Club, Transplant, and The Institute.

Rosa - Kira Guloien

Rosa is Agnes' warm-hearted Martha, working within her household, and is brought to life by Canadian actress and musician Kira Guloien, who has previously starred in Lullaby, Robyn Hood, and Women Talking, alongside smaller roles in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Good Doctor, and Gen V.
