Netflix is adding Virgin River icon's 'must-watch' series with hundreds of episodes
Netflix is about to stream one of the most iconic shows of the 2000s that fans still rave about more than a decade after it ended.

Netflix is poised to debut one of the most celebrated television programmes of the last quarter-century, which continues to captivate audiences more than a decade since its finale.
Launching in 2001 on the CW, the series chronicles the origins of one of comic book lore's most legendary figures, delivering sufficient plot twists to satisfy even the most devoted superhero enthusiasts.
With an impressive 10-season run under its belt, subscribers will enjoy endless hours of thrilling, edge-of-your-seat entertainment when Smallville lands on Netflix on Tuesday, 13th January.
Led by Tom Welling as Clark Kent, the programme explores the formative years of the Kansas-bred teenager who harbours an extraordinary secret – he's an extraterrestrial from a doomed world, fated to become the mighty defender, Superman.

The show established a gold standard for superhero television in the early noughties, remarkably achieving this despite Welling never wearing the legendary Superman suit, and is ripe for renewed appreciation as it arrives on the streaming platform this month.
One glowing 10/10 review from an IMDb user proclaimed it "still one of the best superhero shows ever!" They continued: "I love most of the Superhero shows that are out there (of course there are some that are awful) but Smallville is absolutely one of my favourites of all-time! It tells the story of Clark Kent before he became Superman.
"Every episode is as exciting as the one before it and I can't say enough about Tom Welling, he was fantastic as Clark Kent! It was on before the Superhero genre exploded but it still absolutely holds up today! If you are a fan of superhero shows then I can not recommend this show enough!"
