The Testaments teased in trailer from Disney+
A hotly anticipated sequel to The Handmaid's Tale is coming to Disney Plus in just a few hours.
The Testaments is adapted from Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name, once again set in Gilead. It comes after the original show wrapped up after six seasons, leaving fans eager to see more from the dystopian world.
With a whole new cast, the new show is a dramatic coming-of-age story centred around teenage girls.
A synopsis teases: "The series follows young teens Agnes, dutiful and pious, and Daisy, a new arrival and convert from beyond Gilead’s borders.
"As they navigate the gilded halls of Aunt Lydia’s elite preparatory school for future wives, a place where obedience is instilled brutally and always with divine justification, their bond becomes the catalyst that will upend their past, their present, and their future."
With the series set to premiere tomorrow (Wednesday, April 8), here's everything you need to know about The Testaments' release schedule.

This story is set four years after the fall of Boston in the final season of The Handmaid’s Tale. Those who missed the final seasons of the original show can stream it on Disney+ from tomorrow (April 8).
