Across 10 episodes, the third season of Murder UK will delve into a range of cases, from a nurse entrusted with her husband's care who later died suddenly, to instances of brutal abuse.

The series has been described as: "Murder UK is a British true crime documentary series that explores the dark and disturbing world of homicide.

"Renowned criminologist and emeritus professor David Wilson takes viewers deep into some of the UK's most chilling murder cases, uncovering the common threads that connect them and investigating the psychological and societal factors that drive individuals to kill.

"Through expert analysis and in-depth case studies of different cases in each episode, the series exposes the unadulterated reality of murder and seeks to understand what compels someone to commit the ultimate crime."

The opening episode transported audiences to 1994 and the harrowing story of nurse Marie Whiston, who was entrusted with caring for her then-spouse, Eric Lloyd.

Following Eric's unexpected death, which was originally presumed to be from natural causes, investigators uncovered a disturbing truth.

The debut episode is now available to watch, with the follow-up scheduled to broadcast on Monday, February 2, at 10pm on the TRUE CRIME Channel.

The next episode will explore the tragic story of Katie Wilding, whose hopes of finding genuine love were shattered when she became entangled with someone whose sinister and perilous lifestyle ultimately engulfed her.

A preview reveals: "Despite a history of abuse and a court order prohibiting contact, the couple were found dead together. Initially ruled an accidental overdose, Katie's family refused to accept the finding, believing Richardson's violent past and the circumstances of the scene pointed toward a more sinister truth."

Murder UK airs Mondays at 10pm on the TRUE CRIME channel. Previous episodes are available to stream on WATCH FREE UK.
