A right royal snub - who made the cut at Princess Martha Louise's wedding?

Norway's Royal Family has shared a lovely family photo from Princess Märtha Louise's wedding, but some faces were notably absent from the celebration.

Norway’s Royal Family has shared a lovely family photo from Princess Märtha Louise's wedding to Durek Verrett on Saturday, but not everyone made it into the picture.

The couple posed for the photo with their wedding party, close friends, and immediate family after tying the knot in a picturesque ceremony at a hotel in the small Norwegian town of Geiranger.

Beaming alongside the newlyweds were Märtha's three daughters - Maud Angelica, 21, Leah Isadora, 19, and Emma Tallulah, 15 - along with her parents, King Harald and Queen Sonja.

Also featured in the photo were close friends Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, Märtha Louise's brother Prince Haakon, his wife Princess Mette-Marit, and their children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 20, and Prince Sverre Magnus, 18.

Anne-Kari Bøhaugen, reportedly the maid-of-honor, also joined the group in the memorable snapshot.

However, the image also highlighted some notable absences from the 350-guest event. Among those missing were Prince Haakon's stepson, Marius Borg Høiby, and the groom’s estranged mother, Veruschka Urquhart, as well as his sister, Demi DeLaNuit.

Marius’s absence has been particularly scandalous, given his recent controversies. Earlier this month, Marius issued a public apology after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Rebecca Helberg Arntsen, citing his mental health struggles as a contributing factor.

Sources suggest that Marius was uninvited from the wedding after several guests reportedly threatened to withdraw if he attended.

Marius, who admitted to assaulting his girlfriend while intoxicated with cocaine and alcohol, had traveled to Tuscany despite facing preliminary charges of bodily harm and criminal damage, which could lead to a year in prison.

His lawyer, Øyvind Bratli, ensured transparency by informing the police of his travel plans.

Also absent were the groom's estranged mother, Veruschka Urquhart, and his sister, Demi DeLaNuit.

Last month, the couple reportedly issued a cease-and-desist letter to Verrett's 81-year-old mother, threatening legal action over what they described as her "slander" and "false statements."

Durek addressed the matter on Instagram, explaining that the legal move was "the only remaining option for change." He accused his mother of showing a "significant lack of care and love" towards him, Märtha, and their families through her statements.

The letter, reportedly signed by "Shaman Durek and Princess Märtha Louise," warned Veruschka to "refrain from defaming, disparaging, and making false and provocative statements about Shaman Durek."

It went on to state that failure to comply could result in legal action, including a lawsuit for millions of dollars in damages.
