Prince Harry's special tribute to Princess Diana in his Montecito home

The Duke of Sussex has shared that he has a special area in his Montecito mansion dedicated to his late mother, Princess Diana.

In her recent column for MailOnline, journalist Bryony Gordon shared details of the special tribute - which she saw in person last year.

Speaking of her visit to their mansion in Montecito last year, Bryony wrote: "I spent an afternoon at the house, the kids running around happily as we drank tea. Harry proudly showed me the DIY photo wall he'd recently created, featuring pictures of his mum."

Previously speaking to Bryony in 2017 - as part of her podcast 'Bryony Gordon's Mad World' - Harry said: "I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of 12 and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years has had quite a serious effect on not only my personal life but my work as well.

"It was 20 years of not thinking about it and then two years of total chaos."

Fans were given a glimpse at a picture of Diana in their home in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix docu-series - which was released in 2022. In the adorable clip, Meghan can be seen holding their son Archie up to a photograph of his late grandmother on the wall.

While Archie, now aged five, continued babbling at the photo, Meghan asked him: “Who is that?” He then reached his hand out and placed it on the picture frame.

Meghan then sweetly reminds hers son who the picture is of, adding: "Hey, Grandma…That’s your Grandma."

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their emotional reactions to the heartwarming clip.

One fan wrote: "Archie looking at Diana’s picture, so cute!”

Another wrote: "When Archie [was] babbling in front of Diana pictures and Meghan said ‘That’s your Grandma Diana’, I’M SOBBING SO HARD."

A third said: "I’m only on ep 1 of #HarryandMeghanonNetflix but the picture of Archie looking at Diana nearly broke me."
