Emmerdale Samson death fears as horror stabbing leaves him bleeding out

Samson Dingle is stabbed and left bleeding out in upcoming scenes of Emmerdale.

Next week, Lydia (played by Karen Blick) becomes concerned about Samson’s (Sam Hall) plans to head around Europe by car with his new friend Josh (Osian Morgan).

She secretly hopes he will fail his test and the second hand car Sam (James Hooton) has given him will not be road worthy. But soon Samson’s chuffed when Cain (Jeff Hordley) gives his motor a seal of approval.

When Samson rolls up without ‘L’ plates and Josh announces he has passed his driving test, Samson's annoyed by Lydia's response. They head to the HOP to celebrate, where it becomes clear Josh is interested in the newly-married Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson).

Feeling slightly dismissed by Sarah (Katie Hill), Josh hits on Amy again. Unable to cope with Josh’s endless flirting, Amy leaves work early.

When Matty gives Josh some home truths about his behaviour and tells him and Samson to leave the premises, Josh is furious and embarrassed. Outside, he begins deadnaming Matty before heading back inside to teach him a lesson.

Despite not wanting to cause any trouble, Samson follows Josh back inside. The situation grows increasingly hostile for Matty as Josh starts threatening him to give up the money in the till.

Things escalate and Josh pushes Samson into Matty, resulting in him being stabbed by the knife Matty was holding. As Samson begins bleeding out, Josh accuses Matty of coming at them with a blade.

Matty is shocked when he realises what it looks like and panics about what the consequences might be for him. Samson's fatal injury comes ahead of the character's exit.

In April, it was revealed Sam, 20, had been axed from the soap following 15 years of playing Samson. A source told The Sun: "He has been left devastated. He's grown up with his on-screen Dingle clan and they are all very protective of him. Some of the cast even went to talk to bosses about their decision.

"As news of his axing swept through the building there were quite a lot of angry Dingles. The fact that they are planning on killing him off means there'll be no way back for him either. He's absolutely gutted."
