Princess Sofia of Sweden has gone for an elegant understated look as she joined husband Prince Carl Philip for dinner on their two-day visit to Värmland, a county in west central Sweden.

It is the second time the 39-year-old royal stepped out in public after announcing her pregnancy.

The soon-to-be mum-of-four's look to the Governner's couple's dinner at the Residence in Karlstad was praised by royal fans as the princess opted for a byTimo Belted Jacquard Cotton Blend Shirtdress in off white, pairing it with Louboutin 'Kate 100' nude leather pumps.

The Swedish princess has worn the dress before, designed by byTimo, a brand that creates sustainable, long-lasting vintage inspired fashion.

She seems to be following in the footsteps of Meghan Markle and Princess Kate who also enjoy re-wearing sustainable items in their wardrobe.

Meghan Markle has in the past been hailed a "champion of sustainable fashion" given her support for ethical brands.

In the past, the Duchess has been pictured wearing pieces from her friend Misha Nonoo's sustainable fashion line, and earrings by Kimai featuring synthetic diamonds in ethically-sourced gold.

Meghan has supported a number of other eco-conscious brands, including Another Tomorrow, Veja and Californian-based brands, such as Cuyana and Bleusalt.

The Duchess of Sussex also tries to invest in female-led companies that serve a meaningful purpose. One such company is Cesta Collective, a brand whose signature basket bags are handcrafted by women in Rwanda.

And before Meghan, the Princess of Wales has beared the flag for sustanability. She was hailed by a fashion expert for her style choices at Trooping the Colour 2024, which were labelled a "masterclass in sustainable fashion".

Princess Kate turned heads in her first public appearance since last December, wearing a stunning monochrome look - which she mostly recycled.

The future Queen donned a recycled Jenny Packham dress she's worn on various occasions in 2023 and a fashion expert praised the princess and said her look "was not just an elegant homage to homegrown British brands but a masterclass in sustainable fashion".
