Three senior royals have been left “disappointed” by how King Charles has handled a recent brotherly feud, an insider has claimed.

As part of his cost-saving attempts, the King has been narrowing down the working members of the Royal Family since he took to the throne, with the monarch now also wanting to save on costs around the Royal Estate.

According to GB news, a source has said the King is now putting pressure on his younger brother Prince Andrew to leave his Royal Lodge home in Windsor and downsize to another royal residence.

This comes after the revelation that it has been costing King Charles £3 million a year to fund the security guards outside the lodge after Andrew lost his armed police protection.

However, the King’s recent move to axe the contracts of ten members of the Royal Lodge’s security staff to try and encourage Andrew to move out has been met with disappointment from some of his closest family members.

A source told GB News that Prince Edward, Sophieand Princess Anne are not pleased at how the monarch has handled the feud and believe he could have gone about the situation in a different way.

The source told Women's Day: "Charles does look at the current state of his family with deep concern.

"Everyone, it seems, has issues, whether it be health, financial, legal.

"This situation with Andrew and the Royal Lodge has somewhat divided the family…with Anne, Sophie, and Edward all disappointed in how he’s handled it.

"Then there’s the diabolical situation with his two beloved sons."

The insider also said that Andrew’s immediate family, including his two daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, and his ex Sarah Ferguson, are concerned that the prince is not being protected.

According to GB News, Prince Andrew, who signed a 75-year lease agreement with the Crown Estate for Royal Lodge in 2003, plans to hand the property to his daughters when he dies.

He is believed to be refusing to leave the property despite the fact the security team will have finished their contract by the end of October, the insider claims.
