Meghan Markle will "never set foot" in Britain again despite her husband, Prince Harry's Invictus Games coming home after 13 years, it has been claimed.

The Games will return to the UK in 2027 for the first time since 2014 after it was announced on Tuesday that Birmingham won the bid to host the event in a competition against US finalist Washington DC.

However, the Duchess of Sussex's attendance is still up in the air as the last time she visited her husband's home country was in 2022 when she attended the late Queen Elizabeth's funeral as the couple are still concerned over their security while in Britain.

Now TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan and royal commentator Kinsey Schofield discussed Meghan's possible next move and whether she will join her husband at the major event.

Mr O’Sullivan said: "I predict that Prince Harry will attend but I bet you Meghan does not. I don't think Meghan will set foot in this country ever again."

Ms Schofield agreed, saying: "I think that's fair to say. We've seen she had no desire to. The last time she was travelling with Prince Harry, there was a stop in London, but she did not touch down. She very much dislikes the UK because she feels like the UK dislikes her. I think it's odd that they [Harry and Meghan] have chosen this venue when the Invictus Games has become something they do so much together."

Queen Elizabeth would be 'dismayed' over King Charles's future for heartbreaking reason

Queen Elizabeth would be so proud to see her son King Charles rule in the way he has been doing, but heartbroken to see him and Princess Kate battle cancer, a royal commentator has stated.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK! magazine: "It was a double whammy of bad news affecting two of those closest to her [Queen Elizabeth], so it would have upset her terribly had she still been alive.

"But I think she would have been extremely proud of how they’ve both handled things. The Queen always had that 'keep calm and carry on' work ethic, and we’ve really seen that continue with the King."

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry is appearing on an ITV documentary Tabloids on Trial tonight, with a body language expert decoding his behaviour while being interviewed by Rebecca Barry.

Darren Stanton told Express.co.uk: "He shows sadness when talking about Princess Diana, which quickly turns into anger, his eyes become more squinted and he looks forward and pierces his lips when he thinks about his mum.

"He is being authentic and speaking from the heart. He wants to speak his truth and about his experiences."

Meanwhile, he added that Harry appeared "worried about the consequences of the interview", but felt that he was "operating on a much higher principle".

He added: "His intention for the greater good outweighs any doubt he has or a lack of confidence."

Meghan Markle 'desperate for power' as expert makes bombshell prediction for next move

The Duchess of Sussex voiced her support for Ms Harris as Vice President during the 2020 presidential election.

Speaking with Sky News Australia’s Rita Panahi, Kinsey Schofield, host of the 'To Di For' podcast, said: "We saw Kamala Harris tweet in support of Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle hit by King Charles's subtle dig that hints at possible rivalry

Meghan Markle may have been subtly trolled by those behind King Charles's Royal Collection Shop.

A picture showing the Dry Gin from the Palace of Holyroodhouse shows it styled next to a pair of lemons.

The fruit appears to be a nod to Meghan Markle's American Riviera Orchard marketing, as she sent out jars of her strawberry jam in baskets with lemons.

Real reason Meghan Markle won't join Prince Harry on vital UK trip laid bare

Meghan Markle seems unlikely to join Prince Harry when he next comes to the UK, even though the Invictus Games in 2027 will be held in Birmingham.

A source told Closer magazine: "Harry is going to have to return to the UK solo as it makes sense for him to take a longer trip. He’s convinced that if he spends a longer period of time there, he’ll have a better chance of reconnecting with his family.

"There’s talk of a month or so apart, which is going to be very difficult for them both as a couple. It might make for a pretty lonely summer."

The source told Bella magazine: "Beatrice and Eugenie have firmly pledged their allegiance to the Royal Family. They haven’t communicated with the Sussexes for quite a while. They are nowhere near as close as they once were."

They also attended Royal Ascot with the royals last month.

Meghan Markle's two complaints about Mishal Hussain after 'unempathetic' interview

Mishal Husain interviewed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they announced their engagement in November 2017, but it seems Meghan was not happy afterwards.

The Duchess of Sussex said in their 2022 Netflix series: "It was, you know, rehearsed. So we did the thing out with the press and then we went right inside, took the coat off, sat down, and did the interview. So it was all in that same moment."

Meghan reportedly complained that Ms Husain "wasn't warm enough, wasn't empathetic enough".

Queen Letizia channels her 'inner Princess Kate' in purple causing fan frenzy

Queen Letizia of Spain has stepped out in a gorgeous purple patterned shirt dress during an engagement in Barcelona.

Her look mirrored that of Princess Kate's Wimbledon outfit, as she wore a dress of the same hue by Safiyaa to the Men's Singles Final.

Prince William 'commands respect' from Prince Harry as rift deepens

Prince William still "commands respect" from Prince Harry, with one royal author explaining why there is little chance of a reconciliation between them soon.

Christopher Andersen told Fox News: "I have been saying this for months now – William pulled up the drawbridge and is not about to let it down for Harry anytime soon.

"William not only expects loyalty from his brother on a very personal level, but he commands respect as the heir to the throne.

"That’s just the kind of person the Prince of Wales is. He has always been brought up to believe, as his father did before him, that if the system is to work at all, he comes first after the King – simple as that."

Prince William's harsh 3-word description of Meghan Markle that left Prince Harry fuming

Prince William described Meghan Markle as "difficult", "rude" and "abrasive" during a confrontation with Prince Harry in 2019.

This naturally greatly upset Prince Harry, who hit back that this was a "parrot[ing of] the press narrative" about her.

Harry wrote about the argument at Nottingham Cottage in his memoir Spare, which he claimed turned physical.

'Insincere' Meghan Markle showed warning signs at start but royal bosses missed them

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement interview with Mishal Husain in November 2017 showed signs she was "insincere", a former royal source has claimed.

In the couple's 2022 Netflix series Meghan dismissed the interview as an "orchestrated reality show", something which the BBC rejected.

Richard Eden, writing in the Daily Mail, said he had spoken to sources who worked at the Palace when Ms Husain interviewed Harry and Meghan.

They reportedly told him the Duchess's "performance" should have raised concerns more.

Prince Harry 'airing his dirty laundry in public' is causing rift with Royal Family

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry has claimed in a new ITV documentary that his pursuit of the tabloid press in court has been a "central" part in his rift with the Royal Family.

A source told Express.co.uk: "Never complain, never explain has been the Royal Family's motto for over a hundred years now.

"Although some of what Harry says might be valid, the family doesn't want to be dragged into any more public media storms."

'I worked for Royal Family - why I'm sure Prince Harry is about to spend more time in UK'

Prince Harry could be inspired to return to the UK after the announcement that Birmingham will host the 2027 Invictus Games, a royal insider claims.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold says the games will see the Duke of Sussex spending much more time in the country after relocating to the States with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children.

It came after the pair stepped down as senior royals in early 2020, and relations between the Sussexes and the Palace have grown fraught in the years since.

But Harrold, who previously worked for King Charles for seven years as part of his household, said he "wouldn't rule out Harry moving back".‌

“I think Harry will be looking to increase his time in the UK," Harrold told Slingo.

Prince William and Camilla's rocky relationship revealed as he removes sister from payroll

This week, as the Duchy of Cornwall accounts were released, it was revealed Prince William had reportedly made a big decision by removing Queen Camilla's interior designer sister from the royal payroll.

The accounts showed for the first time in almost two decades, Annabel Elliot was not paid for her services during 2023-2024. She was employed by the then Prince of Wales, as chief designer of his estates following his 2005 marriage to Queen Camilla. But sources confirmed to The Telegraph that Prince William would no longer employ Ms Elliot, although it was no reflection on her work.

The decision could be an example of how Prince William intends to streamline the monarchy and its processes when he becomes reigning monarch.

The UK island where Prince George, Charlotte and Louis can have a 'normal' summer holiday

The Prince and Princess of Wales are preparing for their summer holidays after what has been a challenging year for the Royal Family, following King Charles and Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis.

While the royals have many holiday spots and residencies they can choose to visit, there is one particular place off the Cornish coast that is known to hold a special place in their hearts - the Isles of Scilly.

The Waleses are known to have taken their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the stunning archipelago, which consists of around 140 islands in total, with only five of them being inhabited.

Key sign Prince Harry 'won't walk away' from UK laid bare as he eyes major move

Prince Harry will not "walk away" from the UK as the duke is said to be looking to buy a house in his home country, one year after he was evicted from his former home, Frogmore Cottage, a former royal butler has claimed.

Harry, who is expected to attend the major event, has also been rumoured to be looking to buy a house in the UK, after he and his wife Meghan Markle vacated Frogmore Cottage more than a year ago, following his explosive memoir, Spare.

The Duke of Sussex recently announced that his passion project, the Invictus Games, will be returning to Britain in 2027, as Birmingham won the bid to host the event in a competition against US finalist Washington DC.

Now Grant Harrold, who previously worked for King Charles for seven years as part of his household, claimed that the Invictus Games will cause Harry to "increase his time in the UK" as a part of him could still "resent that he has gone away".

Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Mr Harrold said: "I think Harry will be looking to increase his time in the UK. I heard he may be looking for a house too, which doesn’t surprise me."

King Charles and Queen Camilla to lead celebrations at Balmoral this summer

King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by other members of the Royal Family for a Balmoral summer holiday next month.

Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children - Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 - will join the monarch along with Princess Anne and her husband Timothy Laurence.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are said to have been invited to certain events but are not thought to be staying on the Balmoral estate.

According to a well-placed source, the Royal Family will make their way to the Balmoral estate after it closes down to the public on August 4. The source added that mid-August has been pencilled in for the main arrivals while some members of the family may attend a shooting event on August 12.

POLL: Should Meghan Markle join Prince Harry on next trip to UK for Invictus Games?

The Invictus Games was the event where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen together as a couple for the first time back in 2017, but as the next host nation is named as the UK the big question is if Meghan will join her husband once more.

The Sussexes last official appearance together in the UK was to mourn the death of Prince Harry's beloved 'granny' Queen Elizabeth II, but the Duke himself has visited alone several times this year.

Now with the Invictus Games set to come to Birmingham in 2027 - ten years after Meghan and Harry were seen together in Toronto in 2017 - Express.co.uk is asking readers if they believe Meghan should join her husband for the event.

Take our poll here and let us know your thoughts.

Prince Harry urged to use ‘golden ticket’ as there's only one way back into Royal Family

The adorable children of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be the couple's 'golden ticket' back into the favour of the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.

Prince Archie, aged five, and three-year-old Princess Lilibet currently reside with the Sussexes in their home in California ever since mum and dad stepped down as working royals.

Relations between Prince Harry and his nearest and dearest back in the UK have reportedly soured in recent years after the release of the Duke's tell-all memoir Spare and the Sussexes appearance in a Netflix documentary.

But according to royal expert Kinsey Schofield Prince Harry may look closer to home if he hopes to repair any bridges with Prince William and his father, King Charles.

Prince Andrew savaged over latest outing as shamed royal 'needs to be invisible'

Prince Andrew has been brutally savaged by a royal commentator, who claimed the disgraced duke "needs to disappear" after his latest "catastrophic" appearance.

The Duke of York has largely been kept away from royal engagements after he stepped down from the Firm in 2019 due to his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

But he made headlines back in February after he was pictured "leading" the royals to a memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece in Windsor.

Now royal commentator Tom Bower described the duke's royal position as "dire" and urged that he should be "invisible" to the public eye.

Taxpayer to foot policing bill for Duke of Westminster's wedding - despite his £10bn worth

The Duke of Westminster has come under fire after it emerged that taxpayers will have to pay the cost of policing his rather lavish wedding earlier this summer.

Hugh Grosvenor – estimated to be worth a whopping £10billion – tied the knot with Olivia Henson at Chester Cathedral in the society wedding of the year in June. Prince William took on the role of usher and Princess Eugenie was in attendance.

Despite the duke's considerable wealth, Cheshire police say they won't ask him for a contribution towards security for the event – and will make local council taxpayers foot the bill.

Prince William removes Queen Camilla's sister from royal payroll

Prince William has removed Queen Camilla’s interior designer sister Annabel Elliot from the payroll after taking over the Duchy of Cornwall.

Ms Elliot, 75, has been paid several hundred thousand pounds for her services over the last two decades.

She was employed by the then Prince of Wales, as chief designer of his estates following his 2005 marriage to Queen Camilla.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's mouthpiece takes cruel swipe at William

Prince Harry has revealed he experienced the same "paranoia" as his late mother, Princess Diana did during his fight with the tabloid press. The revelation has been teased from a brief ITV clip of his candid sit-down interview for a documentary named Tabloids on Trial.

In the clip, which shows him sitting opposite ITV News correspondent Rebecca Barry, Harry says he felt “paranoia, fear and distrust” in the years before a High Court ruled in his favour that he was hacked by the Mirror Group.

Labelling it a "monumental victory", he unravels how he felt after the case had concluded. But the excerpt from the interview, set to be broadcast at 9pm on Thursday, July 25, has sparked a response from royal author Omid Scobie, who has penned books specifically about Harry and Meghan.

Meghan Markle has 'one arrow left in her quiver' as major deal 'all but dead'

Meghan Markle is said to only have "one arrow left in her quiver" to maintain "relevance", according to a royal commentator.

The Duchess of Sussex has maintained a relatively low profile throughout the year however, her popularity in the UK and US is still plummeting.

Meghan's brand debut in March helped boost her favourability with the American public slightly, however, it still stays far behind that of other British royals like the Prince and Princess of Wales and even her husband.

Prince William and Princess Kate's 'royal U-turn' after etiquette coach's criticism

EXCLUSIVE: Prince William and Princess Kate have now "adjusted" away from being "too normal" as royals, etiquette coach William Hanson has claimed.

Back in 2016, the 34-year-old said that if our future monarchy was going to be William, Kate and Prince Harry, "then heaven help us", as he claimed they were behaving "like our friends from a grammar school".

After reports at the time suggested that William had also referred to his wife Kate as "babe" in public, the etiquette coach added: "Babe?! Not a very imperial pet name, is it? He's the second in line to the British throne, Your Royal Highness, not a character in TOWIE."

Meghan Markle fears one huge embarrassment as 'olive branch' trip to UK thrown into doubt

As Prince Harry prepares to reconnect with his family on an upcoming trip to the UK, it appears his wife Meghan Markle, is unlikely to be joining him, after an insider revealed that the Duchess of Sussex “fears being heckled in public” upon her return.

Earlier this week it was reported that Harry, 39, is planning to come to the UK later this Summer for an extended period of time in a bid to “mend his broken relationship with his family,” which has been increasingly fraught in recent months.

The proud father-of-two, who officially stepped away from life as a working royal back in 2020 to move to the US with his young family, is believed to have been blindsided by the cancer diagnoses of both his father King Charles and sister-in-law Princess Kate, which was revealed to the public at the start of the year.

On July 22, the fashion-forward Royal graced Flackstock in Berkshire, a music festival designed to raise mental health awareness and encourage others to seek help rather than suffer in silence.

Now in its third year, the annual event is held at the Englefield Estate and has so far raised an impressive £500,000 for charity.

In a rare interview with a British-based journalist, the Duke of Sussex sat down with Rebecca Barry to talk about his mission to expose the so-called "illegal activities of Britain's tabloid newspapers".
