The motives for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's trip to Nigeria have been questioned by royal expert Rupert Bell, as he claimed the focus seemed to have shifted away from the Invictus Games.

The tour last month saw the couple visit military hospitals and attend sporting events in connection with the Invictus Games, with Nigeria participating in the tournament for the first time last year.

It was during the competition in Germany that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were invited by Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff to visit the country.

However, with the revelation that Meghan is 43 percent of Nigeria heritage, Mr Bell told TalkTV that in the aftermath of the visit, much of the attention has been on her.

He explained: "The visit, which I'm sure was deemed to be about Invictus, but all of the fallout from it seems to be about Meghan. Harry's role in trying to drum up support for Invictus seems to have been put on the backburner."

Prince Harry continues to seek 'permanent home in UK' as he misses key part of royal life

Prince Harry is reportedly hoping to find a home in the UK as he misses one key aspect of royal life, according to an expert.

Royal author Tom Quinn believes the Duke of Sussex especially wants to be reunited with his old group of friends, many of whom he has drifted apart from since he married and moved abroad.

He told The Mirror: "As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles.

"He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don't get on with Meghan. Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he's continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security."

Prince Louis melts hearts with adorable advice to England football team ahead of Euro 2024

Prince Louis has left royal fans chuckling with his advice to the England team ahead of Euro 2024.

Speaking with the team, Prince William said: "I was on the school run this morning and I asked [the kids] 'What should I say to the England team today?'

"The best bit of advice I got was to eat twice the amount you normally would eat.

"So I now have visions of all of you running around with massive tummies with stitches on the pitch. So I think maybe take my youngest’s advice with a pinch of salt, particularly around the physio."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'not on same page' as Duke enters new stage in life

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be focusing on different things, as Harry reportedly yearns for the UK while Meghan has moved on.

Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: "Meghan appears to have moved on to some extent, but then she was only part of the Royal Family for a relatively short time. She has more to focus on in the States than her husband has."

Relationship expert Louella Anderson added: "Given Harry was born into the Royal Family in Britain, it's understandable that he would have a strong emotional attachment to his past as part of the Royal Family.

"On the other hand, Meghan was born and raised in America and it would feel more like home to her and so it makes sense that she has an easier time moving on from their time as working members of the Royal Family and is focused on her opportunities in the US."

Why Prince Philip wasn't King despite being married to Queen Elizabeth II

Prince Philip would have turned 103 today, June 10, if he had still been alive.

He married his wife in 1947, when she was still Princess Elizabeth, however he did not become King when she ascended the throne.

According to Reader's Digest, the British Parliamentary law makes the rule as to who is up next in the line of succession and what title the monarch's spouse will have.

The publication explained that, unlike a woman marrying into the Royal Family, a man "is not eligible to take the male form of his wife’s title".

Therefore, "In keeping with this, when Philip Mountbatten married then-Princess Elizabeth in 1947, he did not become prince. It wasn’t until 1957 that Queen Elizabeth bestowed the title of 'prince' on Philip by issuing a letters patent."

Prince Harry had two major William fears that saw him snub Duke of Westminster's wedding

Prince Harry decided not to attend the Duke of Westminster's wedding last Friday, as Prince William served as an usher.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold explained to OK! magazine that there were two reasons why he predominantly decided to stay away.

He said: "I'm sure [Harry] would have wanted to attend. But Harry and William shared friends and they have likely been drawn into this dispute. Plus, he may have worried that the rift with William would pull focus from the wedding.

"It will be hard for William to attend the wedding without Kate as I'm sure they planned to go together. They're such a partnership and he's his best self when she's by his side."

Prince Harry 'determined to find permanent UK home' for heartbreaking reason

Prince Harry is reportedly yearning to come back to the UK and establish a more "permanent" home here.

Speaking to the Mirror, Royal author Tom Quinn shared insights: "As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK.

King Charles will 'never' cut ties with Prince Harry over Archie and Lilibet 'sadness'

King Charles will try to maintain his relationship with Prince Harry for the sake of his youngest grandchildren, whom he almost never sees.

One royal expert has claimed that the King's battle with cancer has made his desire to see Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet even stronger.

In her latest work, 'My Mother and I: The Inside Story of the King and Our Late Queen', Ingrid Seward reveals: "Family has always been important to the King. He remembers his own somewhat fragmented childhood as his parents were always busy doing their duty. It is a great sadness to him he doesn't see more of Archie and Lilibet.

"That is why he will never break ties with Harry. He does not want a FaceTime relationship with his son's children. He wants to know them and be involved with their lives while they are still young enough to be able to learn from his wisdom. His cancer has made it all the more poignant to him as he knows that he won't be around forever."
