Duchess Sophie joined King Charles, Queen Camilla and wider members of the Royal Family as the King led the second Garter Day procession of his reign on a sunny afternoon at Windsor Castle.

Whereas user, @FairyQueane simply wrote: "So beautiful!!" However, during Trooping the Colour 2022, Duchess Sophie wore a different dress - a bespoke Suzannah London suit dress, but in similar pastel colours.

The garment featured an eye-catching soft pink and white gingham print that had all the structure of a blazer - boxy shoulders, sharp lapels, and double-breasted buttons down the front.

The dress was fitted to Sophie's frame to the waist where it flowed out into an A-line midi skirt. White piping details were around the neckline and on the hip-level pockets.

Before 2022, the late Queen had been joined by her wider family with extended members of the royals joining more senior royals for the traditional Red Arrows fly-past.

But that all changed in 2022. The Queen decided to limit the Platinum Jubilee Trooping the Colour balcony appearance to just working members of her family for the first time, so Prince Andrew and Harry and Meghan were omitted from the royal lineup.

The monarch's decision to only include royals carrying out official public duties was taken "after careful consideration", said the Palace at the time.

Joining Queen Elizabeth II on the balcony for the event was the then-Prince Charles and Camilla, William and Kate, Prince Edward and Sophie, Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The monarch alsomade an exception for Anne's husband Sir Tim, and her two youngest grandchildren Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, and her great-grandchildren George, Charlotte and Louis.
