Strictly Come Dancing 2015: Viewers fume as Anita Rani is eliminated from the contest
PEOPLE tuning in for tonight’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing were left furious after Coutryfile host Anita Rani was sent packing from the BBC One programme.
The 38-year-old star faced BBC Proms presenter Katie Derham and her partner Anton Du Beke in the dance-off after receiving the fewest number of votes from the public.
But in the end the judges went for Katie over Anita, making the Bradford-born star the eleventh celebrity to be sent home from the contest.
Yesterday Anita and her partner Gleb Savchenko received a total of 64 points from the judges for their two dances, while Katie and Anton ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of only 56.
Audience members quickly took to social media to express their disdain at the result.
Anita should not be going home! #Strictly @bbcstrictly

I think the Strictly judges are inconsistent puppets really.....the selection process for final looked so "engineered"
