BBC's Bargain Hunt goes head to head with Escape to the Country for special episode
Escape to the Country and Home Under the Hammer stars are going to come together for a special Bargain Hunt episode to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
Escape to the Country and Home Under the Hammer are set to go head to head in a special Bargain Hunt episode.
The BBC hit shows will take part in the special episode to raise money for BBC Children in Need and filming will take place on Thursday, July 11.
TV stars Nicki Chapman and Briony May Williams will battle it out with Martin Roberts and Jacqui Joseph for profits as their items go under the hammer.
Presenting the show alongside Pudsey is Bargain Hunt’s very own Christina Trevanion. Each team will be joined by antiques experts Thomas Forrester and Irita Marriott, while auctioneer Tim Weeks will once again be wielding the gavel and taking to the rostrum.
Speaking about the special instalment, Tim said: “We are really excited to welcome Pudsey and all of the Bargain Hunt team to Wessex Auction Rooms for what will be a fantastic day."

Listing the items up for grabs, he added: "In addition to the regular lots, we also have 33 really special experiences up for grabs including two VIP tickets to accompany me to a Bristol City home game, tickets to be in the audience of The Graham Norton Show, the chance to accompany Phil Serrell on a visit to the Museum Of Royal Worcester, a day behind the scenes filming Bargain Hunt, a dance lesson with one of the Strictly Come Dancing Professionals as well as many more experiences that money can't buy."
