Piers Morgan Uncensored: Kevin Spacey says he was too 'handsy'

Kevin Spacey has admitted to being “handsy” and “caressing people” in an uncomfortable moment from his interview with Piers Morgan.

The Hollywood star was acquitted of all charges of sexual assault in a London trial, but faces another court date, likely early next year.

He has now sat down with Uncensored host Morgan to discuss the bombshell allegations against him.

In a new clip released before the full 90-minute interview goes out at 8pm tonight (Tuesday, June 11), Spacey admits he “touched someone sexually in a way that I didn’t know at the time they didn’t want”.

Morgan lets an awkward silence hang in the air before continuing, “Some people would say that that is criminal. That if you grope people in a sexual way against their wishes that that is a crime.”

Spacey appears to take issue with Morgan's use of the word "grope", describing it as an "odd word".

"I have caressed people," he said. "I have been gentle with people. That is the way that I am.

"You're making a pass at someone, you don't want to be aggressive. You want to be gentle and you want to see if they're going to respond positively.

"So I think the word itself is not a word that I would associate with my experience."

Morgan then grills the actor on whether all the contact was consensual or an attempt at seduction that was repelled.

Spacey avoids answering directly, replying: "Well, they should let you know they don't want to do it so you can understand it's non-consensual and stop."

In addition to this short clip, Uncensored also released a short teaser featuring multiple bombshell moments from the hour-and-a-half interview.

At one point in the gruelling chat, Spacey breaks down in tears after a particularly tough question from the former Good Morning Britain host.

“Do you think you would have taken your life?” Morgan asks.

Spacey hangs his head and breaks into tears. He later admits he has no money to pay his bills, and reveals his home is being repossessed this week as he's crippled with debts from paying his legal fees.

The actor previously denied all charges of sexual assault.
