Reuben Owen, the breakout star of Our Yorkshire Farm, faced an emotional farewell on Thursday evening as his beloved Channel 5 series wrapped up. The end of Reuben's second business year was commemorated with a gathering at the local pub, where he, alongside friends Sarah and Tommy, reflected on the past year's trials and triumphs, raising a glass to the forthcoming year.

However, fans were left worried about whether there would be another series and took to social media to issue a plea to Reuben. One fan said: "Hope they make some more programmes of Reuben."

One fan agreed: "Same here, I hope it went down well and got high viewing figures." A third went on: "What an amazing series we all had being with Reuben. Hopefully will be returning to us all again."

"Thoroughly enjoyed watching Reuben going from strength to strength in his new business venture with the help of his friends Tom and Sarah. They make a great team and I wish them every success in the future I can't wait for the next series." However, one fan went on to point out: "Tom and Sarah have gone their separate ways to university and Tommy lorry driving."

"Really loved this series please let us have more," someone else pleaded as another added: "So sad this has finished hope they make some more."

Channel 5 is yet to confirm whether Reuben will be back for another series, but during Thursday night's instalment, Tommy did address his exit after padding his HGV theory test.

"Are we going to lose you any time soon then?" Reuben asked his pal.

"No, I wouldn't have thought so. I haven't even booked my test yet so it definitely won't be soon," Tommy replied.

Reuben asked: "When you pass, will you do a couple of days with me, a couple of days with Neil, or...?"

"Yeah," Tommy explained. "I obviously want to drive a wagon but I'll still help you now and again."

"Grand job," Reuben reflected as Sarah chimed in. "If we have not got Tom around it's just going to be a bit more work for us, isn't it?"

Earlier this month, Reuben also confirmed Sarah's future after telling host Lorraine Kelly they had gone their separate ways.

"Me and Sarah were together, we're no longer together but we're still very good friends. She's kind of gone her own way and is pursuing her own career," Reuben said setting the record straight.

"She does the odd day for us when she's not busy, but no we're not together. We get on very well and we're still good pals."
