Prince Harry has "no interest" in returning to the UK and carrying out his former royal duties, and instead has several new projects he is working on, insiders report. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "happy and settled" in California, and are focusing solely on their future in the United States, sources told The Telegraph.

Speculation over the Prince's return to royal life emerged after the Duke made effort to maintain contact with his old friend and repair his relationship with the King, however 'multiple sources' have confirmed that this is not the case. The Prince has an "amazing" set of new friends and is working on several projects in California, the Telegraph reports.

An alleged "blueprint" of the Duke's return was first published by the Mail on Sunday, which detailed how Harry may one day return to UK circles, claiming that certain friends of the Prince want Ed Lane Fox, Harry's former secretary, to lead the "comeback campaign". Fox, who was a captain in the Household Cavalry, has maintained contact with the Prince and is on the board of the Invictus Games.

While the exact nature of his upcoming projects are unclear, sources close to the royal family have maintained that the Prince is "incredibly happy" and "determined to look forwards" despite his ongoing quarrel with his father and brother.

The Duke is currently preparing for a New York trip, where he will do charity work for various organisations he is involved in, including African Parks, the HaloTrust, the Diana Award and Travalyst.

His Big Apple excursion later this month will be during the UN General Assembly's High-Level Week. The week focuses on key issues such as clumate change, poverty and inequality, and coincides with the annual Climate Week.

It has been revealed the Prince is focused on the next leg of the Invictus Games, alongside other US-based projects which have not been announced yet. The games takes place in Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025.

The Duke will also reportedly engage in more overseas visits, after his quasi-royal tour of Colombia. He is also rumoured to be working on the Parent's Network, which is a new Archewell initiative for parents whose children have suffered harm online.

He was in the UK in a fleeting visit last month for the funeral of his uncle, Lord fellows, where he managed to fly in and out unnoticed. His attendance at the ceremony was kept strictly under wraps, and there was minimal fanfare and ergo minimal security risk.
