Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been left grappling with a puzzling "enigma" as they continue to experience issues with their pursuit of life away from the Royal Family, a royal commentator claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have struggled to establish themselves in California and have seen their popularity dangerously fluctuate since they quit their institutional roles.

Commentator Esther Krakue suggested the couple has failed to understand why the American public has not embraced them fully because of a considerable lack of "self-awareness."

Speaking to Sky News Australia, Ms Krakue said: "I don't know if it goes as deep as Meghan wondering why people don't admire her because that would be extremely narcissistic but I think the couple understanding why they haven't endeared themselves to the public I still a bit of an enigma to them.

"Part of that is where they live, who they surround themselves with, understanding their dynamics.

"I think they think it's more than just a binary, 'we've left the Royal Family and therefore the media and everyone else has declared war on us and sees us as traitors, as opposed to kind of looking at their conduct."

Zara Tindall heartbreak as she misses out on spot to compete at Paris Olympics 2024

Zara Tindall will not be representing Team GB at the Paris Olympics this summer - 12 years after her silver medal glory at London 2012.

The equestrian team representing Great Britain in the French capital will be Rosalind Canter, Laura Collett, Tom McEwen, and Yasmin Ingham, with Zara's name not appearing on the list.

Princess Anne's daughter has had a rocky relationship with the sporting tournament, having qualified for both Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 but being unable to compete due to her horse being injured.

Her equestrian team scooped silver in 2012, but Zara was not selected for Rio 2016 and did not try for Tokyo 2020.

Real reason Princess Kate took Prince George's picture in black and white

The new photograph of Prince George taken by his mother to mark his 11th birthday is in black and white for a very important reason.

Former commissioned royal photographer Ian Pelham-Turner says black and white photography is Princess Kate's favourite way of doing things because it's trendy and stylish.

The chosen medium is favoured by Kate, who trained in photography at Kensington and Chelsea Art College, because of its starkness in contrast to colour photographs, explains Ian.

Ian explained: "The reality is she likes creating imagery that is - with black and white it's a lot starker. It's a much more focused image.

"Sometimes colour can take away from the distant aspects of the shot. With black and white it's something that is symbolic of showing the royal family. Just a straight image of them without any distraction of colour."

Meghan finding her declining popularity in the United States 'hard to swallow'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s "gloss is wearing off" for Americans with the Duchess reportedly struggling with her declining popularity, one royal expert has claimed.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond believes the "novelty" of having former working royals like Meghan and Harry living in the United States "has worn off" for the general public, with the Sussexes have differing approaches to public opinion polls.

She told OK!: "I suppose Americans have now got used to the novelty of having a British prince making his home in their country, and inevitably some of the gloss is wearing off.

"But Harry remains an immensely likeable man, and I'm sure his personality makes him as popular as ever with people he associates with."

Prince Harry breaks silence after bombshell resignation from key ally

Prince Harry has broken his silence after it was announced that the chief executive of the Invictus Games, Dominic Reid, is stepping down from his role.

Reid has been with the initiative since it was founded in 2014, back when Harry was still part of the working Royal Family and before he started dating Meghan Markle.

The former CEO also played a significant part in organising the inaugural Games held in London, with subsequent tournaments being held in Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, The Hague and Düsseldorf.

Harry made a statement in which he emotionally paid tribute to Mr Reid: "I am immensely grateful to my friend, Dominic, whose dedication and leadership transformed the Invictus Games from an ambitious idea to an internationally recognised movement.

"His tireless efforts over the past decade have supported thousands of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans through sports rehabilitation, helping to showcase their unparalleled strength and contribution to society."

Prince George's secret code name revealed - and Prince Harry would approve

The Royal Family, with its centuries-old traditions and public personas, often seems distant and formal to some. However, beneath the surface of regal protocol lies a close-knit family with personal quirks and affectionate interactions.

Whether it was how Prince Philip reportedly referred to Queen Elizabeth II as "Cabbage" or how Diana, Princess of Wales called Prince William "Wombat", the same tradition appears to have been extended to Prince George who is thought to have had a number of different names.

One lady reveals she met the young Prince while out walking her dog, and he used a completely different name to introduce himself - whether this is a nickname or a strategy to protect his privacy is unknown.

The lady was walking her dog near Berkshire, which is where Princess Kate's parents live. As reported in OK! Magazine, she said: "I was asked by a police minder not to take a photo of the children, which I didn’t, but George started stroking my dog.

"Just to be friendly, I engaged in a bit of small talk and I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it."

Meghan left 'terrified' by one incident that exposed reality of royal life

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were able to savour the early stages of their relationship in relative privacy, allowing their love to blossom away from the public eye.

However, it was inevitable that their secret would eventually be exposed. The moment they had been dreading came to pass during an evening out in Toronto, Canada.

The pivotal event is detailed in the book Finding Freedom by authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. They claim that Meghan contacted a friend shortly after receiving the distressing news.

According to the authors: "One night late in October in Toronto, Harry was happy, and so was Meghan. Until they received a call from one of Harry's aides at Kensington Palace.

"It wasn't good news. A tabloid was going to run with the story of their relationship. Their main worry was that her place would be besieged by photographers within 24 hours.

"They had little time to think because there were only a couple of paparazzi in Toronto but it wouldn't be long before photographers flew in from New York and LA, all hoping to get that first picture of the happy couple."

Security fears for Prince Harry raised to 'at risk' after Trump assassination attempt

Security fears have reportedly escalated for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following Donald Trump's recent assassination attempt.

The FBI have revealed that the man who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump in America on July 13 also researched a member of the Royal Family prior to carrying out the shock shooting.

A week on from the shooting, one royal expert has now suggested that Meghan and Harry could be seen as "at risk".

Discussing the "countless occasions" that individuals have breached Buckingham Palace's security, with one person even making it to the late Queen's bedroom, royal expert Jennie Bond claims that Harry is a "more obvious target" due to his military past.

Speaking to OK!, Ms Bond said: "Security threats are a fact of life for the Royal Family and Prince Harry is an even more obvious target because of his military record."

How Meghan Markle grappled with sudden fame after dating Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's budding romance was a well-kept secret, allowing them precious moments of privacy to fall deeply in love away from the public eye.

However, their blissful anonymity was shattered during an evening out in Toronto when they received the dreaded call that their relationship was about to become headline news.

In their bombshell book 'Finding Freedom', authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand reveal the couple's panic as they realised photographers would soon be swarming Meghan's home.

The authors claimed that Meghan was utterly unprepared for the level of attention that came with dating a royal, which led to her sending a distressed text to a pal.

They wrote: "Prior to meeting Harry, the only times she experienced cameras were on a set or on a red carpet.

"The security was necessary. Shortly after the news broke, a photographer from an LA-based photo agency had scaled the fence into her back garden and waited for Meghan by her car, hoping to get a picture before she headed out to run errands.

"Meghan was terrified and called the police.'This is how it's always going to be, isn't it? ', she said to a friend."
