Thomas Markle 'desperate to reconcile' with Meghan

Meghan Markle risks "jeopardising her privacy" if she decides to make contact with her father due to her brother Thomas Markle Junior and his YouTube channel, it's been claimed.

Both Meghan and Prince Harry are now barely on speaking terms with their own families, as the Duchess of Sussex cut off her father Thomas Markle Senior after he staged paparazzi photos in 2018, just before her wedding.

Her older half-brother has also caused trouble for her as he has posted insults and conspiracy theories about her online, even impersonating her and calling himself 'Me-gain'.

Kinsey Schofield asked on Heirs & Spares: "Can Meghan pick up the phone and say, 'Dad, I want to talk to you but you can't tell Samantha [her half-sister], you can't tell Thomas Jr?

"Her brother has a regular YouTube channel where he talks about his sister, he impersonates his sister. It's almost like she's in an impossible situation because how could she access her father without jeopardising some of that privacy?"

King Charles breaks tradition with subtle change to new Royal Family order

Queen Camilla wore King Charles's new Family Order on Tuesday night during the Japanese state banquet at Buckingham Palace, with the badge featuring several modernising changes to its traditional look.

Family Orders are badges that are traditionally worn at formal evening occasions by female members of the Royal Family and are personally bestowed by the sovereign as a sign of the importance of the wearer within the royal household.

Charles's Family Order debut comes nearly two years after the monarch acceded to the throne following the death of his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth.

However, the King seems to have modernised some of the elements of his Family Order while keeping to the traditional appearance.

There was one moment that stood out to her most: “At one point, Carole and William were chatting to a jockey, and apparently, Carole’s heels were getting stuck. William was ready with a helping hand.”

But the way in which she reportedly begins her days may leave some of her fans horrified.

The Princess Royal likes to eat a bowl of fruit for breakfast. What could make the meal slightly stomach-churning for some is that Anne likes her bananas extremely ripened, according to former royal chef Darren McGrady.

Prince William sparks fear as he's tipped to go 'several steps too far' with one big plan

Prince William may be following in his father King Charles's footsteps with a decision to slim down the monarchy even further, an expert has stated.

Royal author Christopher Andersen told the Daily Beast: "As the senior royals get older, there will inevitably be more health challenges. But it does seem odd that we're witnessing one medical problem after another being heaped on the new sovereign in rapid succession.

"One gets the sense that the Royal Family is on the ropes. I think we were all spoiled somewhat by the late Queen Mother, by Queen Elizabeth II, and by Prince Philip, all three of whom avoided serious illness well into their nineties."

Mr Andersen noted King Charles may worry that "once he is no longer in the picture, a King William V will take his plans for modernisation several steps too far".

Princess Kate 'eyeing up another huge royal appearance' after Trooping the Colour

Princess Kate was a resounding success at Trooping the Colour and could be set to appear at another royal event very soon.

Royal commentator believes Kate could go to watch her beloved Wimbledon, as she is a huge tennis fan.

Writing in Grazia, she said: "Her treatment is ongoing, and will be for the next few months, but I understand she would like to visit the Wimbledon tennis tournament - she is a patron - if she feels up to it."

Subtle way Princess Kate sends strong signal to Prince William that 'speaks volumes'

Princess Kate shared a playful picture of Prince William frolicking on the beach with their three children to celebrate his birthday last week.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! magazine about the photo: "The last few months have been a test of their strong partnership.

"I think this photograph tells us that they are still able to jump for joy, even in the toughest of times, and that Kate has deliberately chosen a picture that speaks of their optimism for the future.

"She adores William - he is her rock and has supported her so selflessly through all of this and has taken flak from members of the public for not doing more and for devoting himself to her. So she adores her man. I think their marriage is stronger than ever."

Prince William's mind may have been elsewhere during last night's state banquet

Prince William may have had to attend the Japanese State Banquet last night but he was likely thinking of something else.

At the same time England were playing Slovenia in their last group stage match of Euro 2024, finishing on a 0-0 draw.

William is President of the FA and travelled to St George's Park on June 10 to wish the team luck in their campaign.

Baffling new Meghan Markle portrait shows Duchess as the 'White Queen'

A new portrait has depicted Meghan Markle as the White Queen, or Elizabeth Woodville, who was married to Edward IV in the 15th century.

Artist Dan Llywelyn Hall said of his portraits: "The Royal Family is possibly the most enthralling longest-running drama in history, the inspiration of theatre, books and every art form.

"In Harry’s case, I have entered the story before he met Meghan – the young party-goer with his future very much in the balance, a bit like the Bonnie Prince I have likened him to.

"I thought putting Meghan in the role of the White Queen, who was a Queen Consort and possibly the most influential 'outsider' in royal history, might have a fine irony to it and not necessarily beyond the realms of reality."

Prince Harry and Meghan's brutal reality as King Charles makes touching statement

King Charles's recent shout out to his Wales grandchildren shows just how distant he is from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

During the Japanese State Banquet last night the King said: "I am only sorry to report that I haven't had any better luck with more recent attempts at fishing. The Pokémon phrase 'gotta catch 'em all' may resonate with my grandchildren, but for me, it is, perhaps, aspirational."

His Majesty almost never sees his youngest grandchildren, who live in Montecito, California.

He is said to miss them and is even considering a trip to the US, when he may be able to visit them.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'becoming irrelevant' as royals 'command attention'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are becoming increasingly "irrelevant" as the Royal Family will always command more attention, an expert has claimed.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK! magazine: "I can’t honestly imagine that they are sitting there scheming to make announcements on the same day as a royal event. Surely they are bigger than that?

"It’s true that there have been some rather strange coincidences in the past about the timing of some of their announcements.

"But I think they are becoming less and less relevant to the news over here, and the Royal Family will command the attention every time."

Prince Harry urged to make the first move to end rift with Prince William

Prince Harry has been encouraged to reach out to his older brother Prince William to try and end their ongoing feud.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot attack the Royal Family while King Charles and Princess Kate are ill.

He added that it would be "a step in the right direction" for the Sussexes to "say something nice" about the Windsors.

Mr Fitzwilliams told the same publication it is up to Harry to make the first move towards reconciliation as he had allegedly done the most harm to the royals.

'Heartbroken' Prince Harry 'planning UK trip' to face Royal Family and repair relations

Prince Harry may be planning to travel to the UK to fix his relationship with the Royal Family.

An insider told Closer magazine: "He can't believe it's come to this, and he's now saying he's going to fly over and force them to face him. He's still a prince, after all; they're still his family, and whether they like it or not, he's refusing to just be cast aside."

They added: "He continues to be heartbroken and confused by the way he's being treated by the royals. It's as though he doesn't exist anymore."

Prince William tugs at heartstrings with touching tribute to Kate that no one noticed

Prince William paid tribute to his wife Princess Kate while welcoming the Japanese Emperor and Empress yesterday, with Kate unable to attend.

William left a gap between himself and the other royals in what appeared to be an acknowledgment of Kate's absence.

Kate is still undergoing treatment for cancer and has not yet made a full-time return to public duties.

She appeared at Trooping the Colour earlier this month, the first time she has been out and about this year.

Prince William's brutal reason for cutting ties as Harry hurt him 'more than he'd admit'

Prince William is "sensitive" and was more upset by the Prince Harry rift than he would like to admit, according to an expert.

Ingrid Seward explained that William found it "easier" to cut off his brother as he no longer wanted to stand for his behaviour.

She told The Mirror: "William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily. His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed."

Meghan Markle's proposal brutally 'declined' by Taylor Swift after 'personal letter'

Prince William recently took his two eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to see Taylor Swift at Wembley, and posed for a selfie with her during a meet and greet.

This may have been difficult for Meghan Markle to see, as Taylor Swift previously snubbed an opportunity to work with the Duchess.

Meghan wrote a "personal letter" to the pop megastar asking her to appear on her podcast Archetypes.

However the singer "declined, through a representative", The Telegraph reported.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's privacy 'contradiction' amid potential Australia visit

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been accused of a "direct contradiction" with their plans for more royal tours, according to a commentator.

The couple paid a visit to Nigeria in May, which was viewed as a resounding success, and have since announced hopes to travel to other destinations.

Royal correspondent Louise Roberts criticised the pair for previously saying they wanted privacy.

She added that it would also be tricky for them to travel to Australia later this year, as King Charles and Queen Camilla are tipped to visit in October.
