Harry and William's potential reunion discussed by Schofield

Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship may have been in tatters for some time, but one royal expert believes one person could have gotten through to them and helped them to patch things up.

Jennie Bond, former royal correspondent for the BBC, told OK! magazine that the late Princess Diana, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997, would be able to bridge the gap between her sons.

She said: "I'm sure her greatest wish would be to hug her boys again and find some way of resolving the rift between them. If anyone could sort things out, it would have been Diana."

While the Duke of Sussex is barely on speaking terms with most of the Firm, he is still close to his mother's siblings Earl Charles Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes, who both attended the Invictus Games anniversary service in May.

Speaking at Diana's funeral, Earl Spencer said Harry and William's "blood family" would always protect them and "arm them spiritually and emotionally".

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's one 'greatest mistake' that could have been easily fixed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made one of their "greatest mistakes" by not putting their relationship out there from the start, according to a royal expert.

Katie Nicholl spoke on Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered about the couple's engagement photocall in 2017.

She said: "It's like he's making that physical connection. He's presenting her to the world for the first time, because he'd kept her in secret.

"I still think one of his greatest mistakes was never introducing her to us, the press, and allowing that connection to be forged.

"Yes, there's a protectiveness and also a defensiveness about it. It's like, 'She's mine. I'm presenting you to her, but hands off'."

Prince Harry under fire in US for controversially receiving American sports award

Prince Harry has been nominated for the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the ESPY Awards, a prestigious sports prize in the US.

Sports analyst and former NFL punter Pat McAfee criticised the decision, saying: "A lot of conversation about Pat Tillman's name. American hero... Now there’s an award named after him, as there should be in the sports world because that is somebody who is the definition of selfless.

"It's going to Prince Harry, who I don't even think is a prince anymore... He said don't call me that."

The Pat Tillman Award for Service is intended for a person with a strong connection to sports who has served others in a manner that reflects the legacy of Pat Tillman, a former NFL player and US Army Ranger who was killed in action in Afghanistan.

Meghan Markle's podcast at risk as public spats with A-list celebs have knock-on effect

EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle's recent disagreements with various celebrities could jeopardise her new podcast with Lemonada Media.

Meghan previously had her podcast Archetypes with Spotify, however the two parted ways last year.

PR expert Kayley Cornelius, speaking on behalf of Betfred, exclusively told Express.co.uk: "Clique culture is highly prominent among Hollywood celebrities, where social networks and associations can significantly influence one's career trajectory. Being part of a well-regarded group can open doors to coveted roles, high-profile collaborations, and media attention.

"Relationships in Hollywood can often extend beyond personal connections to professional alliances, where who you know can be as critical as talent and hard work in determining success.

"With this in mind, there’s no doubt that Meghan's recent public falling outs with high-profile celebrities such as the Beckhams and George Clooney will have a knock-on effect. It may deter others from working with the Duchess due to concerns about how it could impact their own reputations."

Prince William's 'difficult' moment with Prince Harry was handled with 'finesse'

Prince William and Prince Harry have been at loggerheads for some time, but one royal expert claimed he handled one moment with "finesse".

When Queen Elizabeth died at Balmoral in September 2022 the whole family gathered in Scotland, including Harry but not Meghan Markle.

Editor of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Seward, recalled how William handled the day to The Mirror: "Even at that emotional moment, Kate was unable to be at his side. It was their kids' first day at a new school and she correctly felt she had to support them.

"There was also the problem with Prince Harry whose wife Meghan felt if Kate was at the Queen's Balmoral home she should be allowed there too. William handled the whole difficult day with finesse."

Real reason Lady Louise doesn't use HRH title despite being allowed to

Lady Louise Windsor may be the niece of a King, but she still does not use her HRH title.

Her mother Sophie previously explained the situation to the Sunday Times magazine: "We try to bring them up with the understanding that they are very likely to have to work for a living.

"Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it's highly unlikely."
