Furious viewers blast BBC for outdated Pointless episode
The episode was met with barrage of hate online over a question about the “current” government, which actually wasn’t very current at all.
Alexander Armstrong asked: “Name a 2015 post-election Conservative cabinet member."
After the team of players gave their respective answers, Richard Osman went through some of the Pointless answers, with one being Anna Soubry - the Minister for Small Business from 2015 until 2016, who has since returned to the backbench.
Many fans lashed out at the question over social media and they certainly didn’t hold back.

Two years old ffs
"Can tell it's a repeat Anna Soubry is no longer," added another, while a third hissed: "Two years old ffs. Cheap BBC who are putting licence fee up."
Also during yesterday’s episode, Richard was left unimpressed by his co-host Alexander after he made a particularly crude joke.
The comical duo were discussing the word “ascent”, which was the answer to one of the questions in the initial rounds of the game, when Alexander, 47, made the remark.

Contestant Tim had just got a question right, leading Richard, 46, to congratulate him: “Well, played Tim and if you agree to climb a mountain you assent to ascent.”
His co-star cheekily quipped: “That’s right or if you agree to release a fragrance, which I’ve just done.”
Pointless airs weekdays at 5.15pm on BBC One.
