Coronation Street: 'Is Corrie on acid?' Fans ferociously slam Andy Carver dream sequence
CORONATION STREET viewers were left scratching their heads this evening after the episode opened with a dream sequence.
Coronation Street opens with eerie dream sequence
The show began with Andy Carver (played by Oliver Farnworth) running through the cobbles, when he was stopped in his tracks by his enemy, Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre).
As Andy tried to make his escape, more Phelans started popping up all over the place, blocking his exit.
It was at that point a stick of wood appeared in the waiter's hands and he whacked each Phelan around the head.
The scene then switched to Andy sleeping on his sofa as it was revealed it had all been a horrible nightmare.
