Louis Walsh thrown off The X Factor already? Simon Cowell ropes in last-minute replacement
LOUIS WALSH has only been back on The X Factor judging panel for five minutes and already Simon Cowell has found his replacement.
Louis Walsh is being replaced by ambitious contestant
During tonight’s instalment of the ITV series, the bumbling Irish star gets kicked off his coveted seat beside Sharon Osbourne and is replaced by Phillip Hadlow.
Haven’t heard of him? Well, Philip initially auditioned as a singer but admitted he had high hopes of one day sitting as a judge rather than a contestant.
So, after butchering Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up, the the hopeful soon got his wish, and in turn Louis got the chop.
After Simon asked the 46-year-old about his dreams, Philip replied: “Ultimately, I’d love to end up on that panel.”

Unsurprisingly, the bemused foursome chuckled away as Philip explained: “It would open doors.”
And for one audition only, The X Factor panel - traditionally made up of four of the biggest names in showbiz - included humble Philip Hadlow from Margate.
Also featuring in tonight’s particularly eventful episode, Mel B swoops in to replace Nicole Scherzinger for a day of auditions in London.
