The X Factor 2016: 'Amazing' contestant returns NINE YEARS after first audition
SHE hasn't appeared on the show for nine years, but this weekend wannabe singer Anelisa Lamola will return to The X Factor.
Nine years on Anelisa returns to X Factor stronger than ever
Almost a decade after her first audition, the youngster will perform for the panel once again and show the judges just how far she has come.
Originally auditioning for the show at just 17, Anelisa made it to the top twelve in 2007 before the judges decided she was not ready.
Appearing on Dermot's first ever year of hosting the programme, Anelisa was seen performing in front of an audience for the first time.
Singing 'And I'm Telling You' in her initial Cardiff audition, Simon commented: "I think you've got an incredible voice."

When I didn't make it to the next stage I cried my eyes out about it
In the upcoming episode of The X Factor, Anelisa reflects on how the exit helped her to develop as an artist and was thankful for being booted from the competition.
"The further I got, it made me realise how much I didn't know about what to do, or how to sing," she says.
"When I didn't make it to the next stage I cried my eyes out about it and I remember thinking to myself this is what I really want to do.
