Bargain Hunt: Daniel Sebastian introduces D-Day episode

Bargain Hunt was back on BBC One today with a brand new episode. While fans were made up that it was a fresh viewing, others all made the same complaint about the host.

Presenter Danny Sebastian welcomed two teams of Armed Forces veterans to go head-to-head in a special episode, marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Experts Stephanie Connell and John Cameron were on hand to help out, while the contestants were given £300 and an hour per team to spend on antique goodies.

On the red team were Irene and Caroline. They worked together for more than 20 years as police control operators, following their time in the forces.

Over on the blue team were Mike and Dan, who were both former RAF servicemen. They met after they bother suffered injuries.

When their time was up, the reds had spent £20 on a 20th century tea pot, £75 on a collection of air raid items and £20 on a shoehorn. Meanwhile the blues bought a RAF sweetheart brooch for £29, an enamal sign for £60 and a £115 carved oak panel.
