The curls of young Freddie seemed to be a particular point of fascination, prompting one follower to comment: "Oh look at those curls! ! Why is it people with curly hair straighten it and people with straight hair want curly hair! ? Put your straighteners away Christine."

Another echoed the sentiment, saying: "Oh I love those curls."

Christine's heartwarming update follows her candid revelation about her marriage to Chelsea FC football legend Frank Lampard, describing him as 'the son her parents never had' and sharing that their 15-year-strong relationship thrives on cherished 'us time'.

Christine has opened up about her husband Frank's enduring grief for his late mother Patricia, who passed away at the age of 58 in 2008 and after whom their daughter is named. Speaking to womanandhome magazine, she revealed: "There are still moments where losing his mum takes Frank's breath away, and he can't quite believe it's been so long. There are certain moments on random days when it engulfs everything around him."

She continued, sharing her connection with the memory of Frank's mother: "I didn't get to meet Frank's mum but there's a lovely picture of her in our house and even though the kids are really young, they know exactly who she is. It was a very emotional day when I asked Frank, 'Why don't we call our daughter Patricia? ' I think he was overwhelmed. I look at her now and she's nothing else but Patricia."

In other news, Christine is gearing up to take over for Lorraine during the summer period - catch Lorraine every weekday from 9am on ITV1 and ITV2.
