Man Utd: Mason Greenwood is a ‘natural goalscorer’ says expert
Manchester United defeated West Ham 3-1 on Saturday night with Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford all on target. Tomas Soucek beat Dean Henderson from close range to give David Moyes’ side the lead before the Red Devils turned things around. Express Sport will now take a look at four things we learned during the clash at the London Stadium.
In United’s last Premier League game against Southampton, they conceded two goals from set-pieces.
And it was a similar story against West Ham, with Soucek’s goal the difference.
It suggests United have a new problem on their hands: defending set-pieces.
Alex Telles switched off and the gap between Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof was exploited. It was a sloppy goal and would have cost them dearly if not for their second half change.
United must now go back to the training ground and work on things if they’re to keep clean sheets in future.

For the most part, Anthony Martial was awful against West Ham.
And when Greenwood replaced the France international down the middle, the 19-year-old proved a big point.
The teenager showed predatory instincts to give United all three points, spinning his man and firing home in style before Rashford added gloss late on.
Martial is a good player.
But Greenwood looks deadlier down the middle and must be deployed there more often.
