While focus is on Euro 2024 and Copa America, Premier League chiefs and managers are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure they're raring to go ahead of the new season starting in August.
Summer transfer plans are ramping up now, with Chelsea and Tottenham among those to announce key signings yesterday in the shape of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Archie Gray.
The likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City are going about their business too, and have all been linked with marquee names ahead of the new season.
Man Utd remain hot on the heels of Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee and Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to stamp his authority early doors with his new-look INEOS structure in place.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are close to announcing the permanent signing of David Raya from Brentford in a £27million deal following his initial loan move to the club last summer from their Premier League rivals.

Juventus are preparing to make an offer for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Netherlands international is keen to move to Juventus, who have already signed Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa and are tying up negotiations for Khephren Thuram.
Koopmeiners scored 15 goals and registers seven assists for Atalanta last season as they won the Europa League. He's been linked heavily with both Liverpool and Manchester United - neither of which have registered formal interest.
Departed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was understood to be a big fan of the player's work-rate and tenacity.
Nicolo Zaniolo, who graced the Premier League last season on loan with Aston Villa, is making his way back to Italy.
The attacking star left Serie A after sealing a lucrative switch to Galatasaray last year, but it hasn't worked out.
Now, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, it is a matter of time before Zaniolo heads back to Italy's top flight after agreeing a deal with Europa League winners Atalanta.
Zaniolo, who has in recent years been linked with Tottenham and Liverpool, will undergo a medical within the next day or so.

Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha in a deal worth £47.4m.
The German giants will pay £43.2m up front with £4.2m in add-ons in what is a club-record sale for Fulham.
Bayern have held a long-standing interest in the 28-year-old having pursued a move for him since last summer - talks of which got so far down the line that the player travelled to Germany and completed his medical, and was even pictured in the Bayern shirt.
Manchester United "squandered" the opportunity to sign £263m worth of talent - including the likes of Jamal Musiala and Moises Caicedo.
Success in the transfer window has long evaded the Red Devils since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 with Bruno Fernandes arguably the sole big-money success that's arrived at Old Trafford in over a decade.
Whether it be a bargain or an expensive purchase, the recruitment at United certainly leaves a lot to be desired.
Momentum is gathering behind Liverpool's proposed move for Spain sensation Nico Williams.
It is known that the winger will be made available this summer, but reports suggest an estimated request of £300,000-per-week in wages is going to be a big issue.
It would rocket Williams to the second highest earner at Anfield behind Mohamed Salah, who also finds himself in contract limbo with only 12 months remaining on his current deal.
Liverpool do not have history for bringing in players and immediately making them the top earner, which suggests the FSG ownership may return to the drawing board.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, United rejected Lazio's offer in June which was worth around £17m plus a 50% sell-on clause.
Man Utd are believed to want to offload him by Monday though, so Lazio are standing firm in their approach.
The report states also that Lazio president Claudio Lotito is unwilling to budge on that offer and match the asking price of £30m. Instead, he is said to be willing to prepare the same offer, with a deadline of July 10 before the club withdraw it.
Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha is finally on the cusp of joining Bayern Munich in a big-money deal after his transfer fell through last January on deadline day.
According to reports, Bayern have agreed a deal to sign the Portuguese star for a fee worth up to £47.4million.
There had been talk over Erik ten Hag's transfer power at Man Utd following the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the implementation of his new-look football structure.
Liverpool and several other Premier League clubs will have been placed on alert by Juventus.
It has been reported in Italy that Juventus have opened the door to the sale of Federico Chiesa.
It comes amid former interest from Jurgen Klopp, who was reportedly a huge admirer of the Italian winger. And Premier League clubs will be all over him this summer if he decides against staying at Juve.
