Man Utd: Solskjaer says 'anything can happen' in the title race
Manchester United have picked up some momentum under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following a rocky start to the new season. The Red Devils have recently beaten RB Leipzig and PSG in the Champions League, while also securing a respectable draw against Tottenham. But he knows his side require more improvement if they’re to reach the lofty levels of old and already seems to know his next three signings.
Just about everybody was writing Solskjaer and United off after their 6-1 defeat to Tottenham at the start of the month.
But, ahead of Sunday’s Premier League showdown with Arsenal at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have bounced back.
Few gave United a chance of beating Leipzig and PSG but both were blown away in the Champions League, giving the Red Devils six points from six.
And picking up four points from two matches against Chelsea and Newcastle has certainly helped to lift some of the doom and gloom mood that was engulfing Old Trafford.
Despite their recent improvement, however, Solskjaer is already planning ahead.
And he already seems to know his next three signings with Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Dayot Upamecano all eyed.

At the start of the week, The Athletic confirmed that United’s interest in Jadon Sancho hasn’t waned.
It was an open secret the England international wanted to land the 20-year-old during the summer transfer window but, in the end, they had to settle for Edinson Cavani instead.
Borussia Dortmund wanted £108million to let their prized asset go and United deemed him too expensive.
However, they’re still eager to land the 20-year-old at the earliest opportunity.
And, should that happen, United would likely deploy Sancho alongside Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in attack.
