Man Utd ‘most serious contender’ for Sancho signing says expert
Manchester United, according to The Sun, are hoping to land both Jadon Sancho and Kai Havertz this summer. The pair have been in sensational form for Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen respectively, scoring an impressive 33 goals combined. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to bring the pair to Old Trafford.
It’s been a mixed season for Manchester United, with the club blowing hot and cold ever since Solskjaer’s appointment as manager.
But, recently, it looks as if they’ve turned a corner.
United were on a run of 11 matches without defeat before the coronavirus crisis saw football grind to a halt - their best form since Solskjaer was named permanent manager last March.
Now, the Norwegian is hoping to bolster his squad when the transfer window reopens at the end of the campaign.
Sancho and Havertz are targets - so Express Sport will now take a look at how the Red Devils could line up with the two players.

United have now joined the race for Havertz, who has been in sensational form for Leverkusen this season.
But they reportedly don’t plan to play the Germany international in a central role.
Instead, United think he can operate anywhere across a front three.
And the report suggests they see him as being an ideal fit for the left flank.
United are hopeful they can sign Havertz with an opening bid of £50million planned - but the likes of Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also in the race.
