Coronavirus: Klopp says he 'cried' over NHS workers
Liverpool are reportedly set to receive a formal transfer for Xherdan Shaqiri from Sevilla. The Swiss international has been placed on the transfer market, with the club looking to improve their strength in depth ahead of next season.
It's been a mixed time at Anfield for Shaqiri, who proved a bargain in his first campaign on Merseyside.
He made several notable contributions, including a brace against Manchester United in December 2018 while also playing in the dramatic 4-0 Champions League semi-final second leg win over Barcelona.
Things have regressed since then, with Shaqiri's season haunted by a persistent calf problem.
Jurgen Klopp is still optimistic he can return to play a part in the end of the season.

Klopp didn't want to weaken his squad mid-season particularly given how quickly things can change with injuries.
Roma were also keen on Shaqiri, but again Liverpool's stance was clear.
The Italians are ready to move for Shaqiri again this summer whilst CSKA Moscow are also in the hunt.
Pundit Danny Mills has questioned whether Liverpool's £28m price-tag is realistic.

“I cannot see it at that price,” Mills told Football Insider.
“They paid £13million for him two years ago. Has he got better? No.
"He has stayed about the same and got older.
"Teams will not want to pay more than double what they paid for him. It does not make any sense.
“That is a bit of a strange one. I find it very odd if he went for that amount of money.
"Of course, he has had a lot of injuries of late so it would also be a risk.”
