Coronavirus: Premier League should be 'reset' says pundit
Gary Neville has recommended five measures to help football cope with the impact of the coronavirus crisis and he believes the current season can still be finished. It comes as a boost for Liverpool, who remain anxious about the prospect of missing out on the Premier League title.
The Manchester United icon has previously flirted with the idea of scrapping the campaign, playing on the nerves of Jamie Carragher on social media.
But Neville has put on record on Twitter that the authorities can implement changes to help football stomach the issue while ensuring leagues preserve their integrity.
He tweeted: "Finish this season in a short time frame when safe.

All 20 Premier League teams are already aware they may have to complete matches behind closed doors.
The idea is that when it's safe to do so, fixtures take place in front of fans but that is currently looking unlikely.
UEFA have at least moved the European Championships until next summer to give domestic leagues breathing space.
Neville's former club United are also in agreement with Liverpool that the season should be completed.

In a club statement to supporters on the subject of season tickets, they said: “The club fully supports the collective intent to complete the Premier League, FA Cup and the UEFA club competitions."
If the season was to void, there is some confusion how spots such as the top four and relegation would be decided.
