Manager Unai Emery is expected to drastically overhaul his squad this summer after a frustrating first campaign in charge at Arsenal.
The Spaniard enjoyed a positive start to life in London but the Gunners tailed away at the end of the campaign, finishing fifth in the Premier League and suffering a humiliating Europa League final defeat to Chelsea.
And Arsenal are reportedly targeting a host of new arrivals this summer, despite a transfer budget that could be as low as £40million.
A new centre-back is a priority for the Gunners with Shkodran Mustafi heading for the exit, and several candidates including Djene Dakonam, William Saliba, Joachim Andersen, Presnel Kimpembe and Armando Izzo have all been linked.
Granit Xhaka has been linked Inter Milan so the Gunners are looking at Sampdoria ace Denis Praet as a long-term partner for Lucas Torreira, although Matteo Guendouzi’s development lessens the need for immediate midfield signings.
Further forward, Arsenal are searching for more creativity with Mesut Ozil below-par for much of the past season and potentially on his way out of the Emirates.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi continue to frustrate so Yannick Carrasco is a mooted replacement with the Belgium hunting a return to Europe from the Chinese Super League.
In terms of departures, Petr Cech has retired and Aaron Ramsey has joined Juventus while Danny Welbeck is out of contract and Carl Jenkinson could be offered to Celtic in order to sweeten a deal for Tierney.
