Arsenal target Joachim Andersen puts Gunners on red alert with fresh transfer statement
ARSENAL transfer target Joachim Andersen has revealed he’s open to leaving Sampdoria this summer after two successful seasons at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
“The fans, the president, the staff, the players, the city – but maybe it’s time to move on to develop further.
“There are a number of interested clubs from Europe’s biggest leagues who are discussing with my agent and I’ll be making a decision shortly together with my family and my agent.”
As much as Andersen is open to a summer move, he won’t leave Sampdoria unless the Italians receive a sizeable fee for his services.
“It’s very important to me that Sampdoria can also benefit from an eventual transfer. It’s not all about me,” he said. “I have so much to thank this great club for.

“Without Sampdoria, I wouldn’t have had the opportunities I have had to this point.”
He added: “I have dreams of playing in the biggest clubs in the world and the biggest leagues in the world – I’m lucky enough to already be playing in one of them.
“I think I have a pretty broad football education and I don’t see why I shouldn’t be able to adopt to most leagues.
“But I’m not saying it would be easy.”

Arsenal will be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements this summer following a poor 2018-19 campaign, which saw them miss out on Champions League football.
Express Sport understands both Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny are surplus to requirements at the Emirates and that Emery will listen to offers for the pair.
The Spaniard is also willing to field offers for Mesut Ozil and Henrkih Mkhitaryan, who he wants to offload in order to reduce the team’s wage bill.
Arsenal will next be in action on July 16, taking on MLS side Colorado Rapids in their first pre-season friendly.
