Jose Mourinho on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah
He made his move to Roma permanent and after a fine season, scoring 19 goals, the Egyptian was then signed by Liverpool in 2017.
Salah set the Premier League alight in his first season at Anfield, winning the PFA Player of the Year award after scoring 44 goals in all competitions.
Jose Mourinho says the years have been kind to Salah, who has improved vastly from the “lonely boy” who joined Chelsea five years ago.
“Mentality, fitness and adaptation to a new reality,” Mourinho said on beIN SPORTS.

“He arrived in Chelsea coming from Basel.
“A lonely boy, a naive boy, completely out of context, physically fragile.
“And then he goes to Italy, he has the experience of Fiorentina, he has the experience of Rome.
“When he comes back to England he comes completely adapted to the high level of European football with more understanding of the game, physically much stronger.
