Louise Minchin's VERY awkward name gaffe with author
The BBC Breakfast hosts began to run through what was coming up on the show later in the morning when Louise made the gaffe.
Louise could be heard saying: “From walking with dinosaurs to Jurassic park we’re always fascinated by Dino news.
“So it’s little wonder that palaeontologist Steve Brusatte’s new book charting the rise and fall of the dinosaurs…”
Dan could then be heard laughing in the background at Louise’s pronunciation.
“I’ve made you laugh,” Louise noted. “Have I said his name wrong?”
Unable to stifle his giggling, Dan replied: “You opted for the popular dish bruschetta there?”
“Did I?” Louise queried.
The 49-year-old went on to continue with her short introduction to the segment.
As they concluded the line-up for the show, Louise commented: “I think I was possibly thinking back to the Jamie Oliver interview.”
“Ooh I’d love a bruschetta,” Dan noted.

Moving on to introduce the sport segment of BBC Breakfast, their co-host Sally Nugent joined in with the joke.
“Here’s Sally Nugent with the sport,” Dan said.
But the presenter jumped in and quipped: “Sally Nugget,” as she began giggling.
The embarrassing blunder came after Dan suffered a series of technical issues during an interview yesterday.
The presenter was speaking to Chief Nursing Officer at McMillan, Karen Roberts about a shortage of staff.

Throughout the chat, Karen could be seen struggling with her ear piece.
Dan was forced to check she was okay, he asked: “Are you alright?
“Can you hear me okay?”
Karen replied: “Yeah, sorry. I’m just hearing you a bit difficult at the minute.”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays on BBC One at 6am.
