Bill Gates awkwardly dodges question on BBC Breakfast
Dan was joined by his BBC Breakfast co-host Louise Minchin as they quizzed Bill about his career and philanthropy.
Bill was more than happy to answer the majority of their questions which ranged from his biggest luxury to internet security.
But things took an awkward turn when Louise asked him about being the world’s most admired man.
“And being the world’s most admired man, have you got any tips for Dan?” she joked.
Dan was left red-faced by the probing and could be seen flashing an awkward grin at the camera.
“Alright,” he laughed. “That’s a bit unnecessary.”
Bill also appeared to find the situation slightly awkward.
He laughed at Louise’s question before quickly wrapping up the interview.
“Thank you,” he commented.
Turning to Dan, Louise noted: “He’s not going to answer. No tips.”

Blushing slightly, the 41-year-old replied: “No tips… If you did miss that last week, he is the world’s most admired man.”
Yesterday’s report saw Dan slammed by viewers over his “awkward” interview regarding the Windrush generation.
He spoke to Paulette Wilson, who came to Britain from Jamaica in the 1960s.
She was threatened with deportation and held in a detention centre for two years.
Dan quizzed her about how she felt about Home Secretary Amber Rudd’s apology.

“How did that make you feel when you heard that?” he probed.
Paulette replied: “I didn’t hear it until this morning.
“I didn’t watch the news yesterday.”
Dan went on to press Paulette about the issue, which left viewers infuriated as they branded the chat as “awkward”.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays on BBC One at 6am.
