Who is Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway?
Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway’s identity is still unknown but fans of the BBC soap have already met him before.
He appeared in the New Year’s Day episode when the men of Albert Square took part in a heist planned by Aidan Maguire (played by Patrick Bergin).
Callum was seen brandishing a gun before a shot rang out leaving viewers fearing Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) had been hit.

But before he fired the gun, Mick appeared to recognise the gangster as he exclaimed: “It’s you!”
Callum is an old friend of Mick’s son Lee (Danny Boy-Hatchard) from the army and was closely acquainted to the Carter family before they moved to Walford.
What is Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway’s connection to Aidan Maguire?
Callum is part of a group of men led by Aidan’s ex-wife Ciara Maguire (Denise McCormack).

He transports expensive and presumably illegal goods, which Aidan’s team stole on New Year’s Day.
Who plays Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway?
Callum is played by Tony Clay and was first listed on the credits for EastEnders on January 1.
The actor has previously starred in a number of short films and TV series.

He first starred in An Ordinary Life in 2012 before going on to star in Foyle’s War and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man.
Following his first appearance on the soap, he told his 1,027 followers that he is “very excited” to be part of the show.
Tony added that fans should “stay tuned” hinting that there is much more to come from his mysterious character.
EastEnders airs tonight on BBC at 8pm.
