EastEnders spoilers: Ben Mitchell’s fate confirmed TONIGHT as Phil fears the worst
EastEnders: Ben Mitchell is revealed as the cash thief
Earlier this month, fans of the long-running BBC soap saw the mechanic flee Albert Square with the money from Aidan Maguire’s (played by Patrick Bergin) heist only to find he’d been double-crossed.
In scenes set to air this evening, the men involved in the New Year’s Day robbery will come out of hiding to work out what went wrong.
Phil (Steve McFadden), Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood), Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) and Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) all want to know where the loot they were promised has gone.
It doesn’t take long for Phil to work out that his son Ben has something to do with the missing money.

EastEnders: Phil and Billy were stunned when they learned the loot had been stolen
While he fails to get any answers out of Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick), he begins to panic when Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) reveals Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) is back on Walford.
The hardman quickly works out that Mel is also looking for the loot and believes Ben could be in danger.
Will Mel reveal what really happened to the youngster when he stepped off the ferry in Calais?
Meanwhile Mick will also find himself in a predicament when he realises he only has a few days left to pay Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) the money for The Vic.

It’s definitely one to look out for and watch. It will explode
Panicking, the landlord is quick to accuse Aidan of keeping the money from the others - will Phil expose his son’s involvement?
It comes after soap star Danny teased details of the heist culprit reveal, promising viewers will be stunned when they find out who has the cash.
“Everyone is questioning each other over who could potentially have the money that was stolen from Aidan, and so it’s basically exploring and discovering who has the money, which you will find out very soon,” he told Express.co.uk.
