Great British Bake Off 2017: Viewers fuming at Paul Hollywood blunder - did you spot it?
PAUL HOLLYWOOD left Great British Bake Off viewers furious after he made an apparent blunder during Italian week.
GBBO: Paul says pizza represents the Italian flag's colours
The celebrity baker was judging the six contestants’ attempts at making pizza during their second challenge when he tore in to Stacey Hart’s margherita.
After criticising the lack of mozzarella on the base, saying it was “lost” in the toppings, Paul said firmly: “The whole thing is - white, green, red.”
He added with a dramatic gesture: “It’s the Italian flag.”
While a devastated Stacey nodded in agreement, some viewers were too concerned with Paul’s description, as the flag is actually ordered green, white, red.
