Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Charlotte Hawkins’ secret dance past EXPOSED
STRICTLY COME DANCING fans are eagerly waiting for the show's enormous group of celebrities to debut their first dances this Saturday, but Good Morning Britain presenter and journalist Charlotte Hawkins has confessed to already having a secret past in the dance world.
Piers Morgan discusses the 'Strictly curse' with GMB's Charlotte
The 42-year-old newsreader was paired with professional dancer and hunk Brendan Cole in the BBC series' last episode, leaving the duo with two weeks of intense training to prepare for their first spin around the dance floor.
But while the stunning blonde admitted to having some experience in the art form, she hastened to add that it didn't help her with the complicated foxtrot.
Speaking to Radio Times magazine, Charlotte revealed: "I did ballet, modern and a little bit of tap as a child and thought it would come back to me, but in the first group dance - nothing!"
The star went on to admit that while her schedule has been gruelling, she still makes sure she has time to spare for her daughter, and intends to use her little one's influence as inspiration for her dancing.

Strictly: The star also revealed she'll be channelling her little girl in her dancing
Ithought it would come back to me, but in the first group dance - nothing!
"I'm up at 3am for GMB, so from half-past eight when we come off air I'll be training, although I've got a two-year-old little girl, Ella Rose, and I need to spend time with her.
"I'll be channelling my daughter. She has no inhibitions and just bowls up and starts dancing. We lose that freedom as we get older," she added.
At the admission, Charlotte's New Zealander partner Brendan, 41, enthused: "That's exactly what you need. If we can embrace our inner child, we'll be great."
Meanwhile, Charlotte's fellow presenter on GMB Piers Morgan has been teasing her about the "Strictly curse".

After reading out a number of "flirtatious" excerpts of his co-host's recent interview with the Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine and quizzing her about their "burgeoning" relationship, Charlotte finally begged him to stop.
"He's coming in tomorrow, don't embarrass me," she said on today's show, as Susanna Reid 46, giggled apologetically at her presenting partner's relentless teasing.
