Babushka BLASTED by viewers for 'ripping off' Deal Or No Deal: 'Totally not original'
RYLAN CLARK-NEAL'S new show Babushka has been blasted by ITV viewers for being too similar to Deal Or No Deal.
Babushka: Contestant takes risk and losses prize pot
The quiz sees contestants try to win a series of cash prizes hidden in Russian dolls, with the opportunity to win up to £10,000.
In order to open one of the dolls, players must first answer a true or false question correctly.
Viewers at home felt the format bore an uncanny resemblance to Noel Edmonds' long-running Channel 4 game show, which was axed by the broadcaster last year.
One complained: "@ITV #babushka what a terrible format babushka is. Almost a rip off of deal or no deal. Terrible"
