POINTLESS viewers were left stunned this evening after a team delivered a trio of incredible answers in the final round of the BBC quiz, leaving hosts Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman in awe.

Paddy and Brendan stole the show with their run of impressive answers throughout the episode, but they really shone during the final round with three pointless answers, scoring them the jackpot.
The Glaswegian pair chose to answer questions on sports in 1996, delivering their three answers on Euro '96 goal scorers.
Viewers were stunned then as it was revealed that all three of their answers were in fact pointless.
Alexander congratulated the pair, saying: "Nailed it. Very, very well done."

The lucky twins won £1,000 with their answers of Oliver Bierhoff, Patrick Kluivert and Ally McCoist, and revealed that they wanted to celebrate their victory with a massive holiday.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to comment that the pair should have been given a bonus for their incredible feat, with one posting: "Oi, @richardosman, you should give a bonus to people who get three #pointless answers in the final."
