Loose Women: 'Hungover' Kaye Adams slams Penny Lancaster in heated Trump 'chivalry' debate
THINGS got a little heated on today's Loose Women as Penny Lancaster and Kaye Adams had a difference in opinion over whether ladies should expect old fashioned chivalry from a man.
Andrea McLean accuses Kaye Adams of being HUNGOVER
Today's post-NTAs panel - which consisted of Penny, Kaye, Linda Robson and Andrea McLean - were comparing Donald Trump to Barack Obama in the chivalry stakes, but there were some major differences of opinion in the studio; especially between Penny and Kaye.
Penny said that things should be "balanced", suggesting that there are times when a gentleman should be escorting a lady.
However, Kaye blasted: "You said the gentleman should escort the lady, why should the gentleman escort the lady?
"In a relationship genuinely you should feel totally respected to him, we shouldn't get hung up."
She said in regards to Trump's treatment of his wife Melania when he leapt up the steps to meet the Obamas ahead of his inauguration: "He's showing his power."

Penny insisted that there needs to be a 'balance' in a relationship
The panel were discussing this moment when the Trumps met the Obamas
What do you expect Theresa May to do with Donald Trump? Take her husband and guide him up the stairs? You can't have it both ways.
A clearly aggravated Kaye replied: "Well what do you expect Theresa May to do with Donald Trump? Take her husband and guide him up the stairs? You can't have it both ways."
Keen to share her opinion, Linda then said: "If you arrive as a couple, you arrive together," as Penny stated: "If a man walked into a restaurant first and the door slammed behind you [you wouldn't be happy] it's mutual respect."
Adamant that she was in the right, Kaye went on: "But it's the male and female thing. On the one hand you want independence and on the other hand you want them to open doors."
Penny then replied: "It's a balance though isn't it? I often say to Rod [Stewart] 'alright darling I've got this one,' and he'll say 'OK well I've got these'. It's about caring and paying attention and respecting one another."

The Loose Women ladies partied up a storm at last night's NTAs
As Kaye eventually said: "There's a line between chivalry and controlling. Where is the line?"
Andrea accused Kaye of being a "bit tired and hungover" after last night's partying and some viewers took to Twitter to agree with her.
One person posted: "@loosewomen lol @kayeadams & @LindaRobson58 are really not with it today. Think HR needs a word about coming to work hungover. (sic)"
Someone else added: "Kaye's in a bit of a ratty mood today, (too much plonk maybe) poor Penny - I thought she was spot on."
"Agree with #penny @loosewomen #kaye shame on you tut tut," a third continued.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
