Seven-year-old David Daniel Otunga JR will join his mother on stage to help her decide on the very best contestants.
In scenes due to air on ITV, the youngster runs on and hops into the big red chair, while Jennifer explains the rules.
She tells him: "Hop in my chair. If you like somebody you tell mummy, you say, “Mummy hit the button,” and we’re gonna spin around. You don’t wanna spin around?"
David takes to role like a duck to water, spinning the chair around to face the audience.

The seven-year-old sat in the big red chair with his Dreamgirls star mum
It’s kinda cool right?
He exclaims: "It’s really fast."
To which the Dreamgirls star responded: "Yeah, it’s kinda cool right?"
David is Jennifer's son with her long-term partner, professional wrestler David Otunga. The couple became engaged in September 2008.

The pair sit together and listen as another lucky hopeful sings
Later on in the programme, Jennifer and David sit together and listen to a potential candidate's audition.
Evidently impressed with what he heard, David presses the buzzer and the chair spins around to reveal the lucky candidate.
The Voice UK continues tonight at 8pm on ITV.
