Peter Capaldi joins forces with a masked superhero in the Christmas special which also stars Matt Lucas as an alien.
Stephen Moffatt said: “It’s about a little boy who is accidentally given superpowers and happens to be a comics fan, so he decides he should be a superhero in his adult years.”

Roald Dahl's witty Revolting Rhymes are being brought to life in Christmas specials on Boxing Day and Tuesday December 27.
The rhymes, written by Dahl in 1982, retell classic fairytales with different twists and endings.
