Queen Camilla? Duchess of Cornwall will take the throne, claims Royal Butler
THE Duchess of Cornwall will become Queen following a campaign by Prince Charles to win the support of the British public, a Royal Butler has revealed.

When the Queen passes away, Prince Charles will take the throne as King of England.
But the future title of his wife Camilla Parker Bowles has been in doubt for years amid a lack of public support and the Duchess of Cornwall herself unwilling to take the role of Queen.
It has long been claimed Camilla wishes to become Princess Consort when Prince Charles becomes King.
Prince Charles has reportedly lobbied for years for Camilla to become Queen and it appears the next-in-line to the throne may get his way.

A Royal Butler who has worked for the Royal Family for more than a decade, told Daily Star Online: “Does she want to do it (be Queen)? No.
“But she loves him, so obviously she’s going to end up having to for him.”
But the final decision does not lie with Prince Charles - it is said Camilla’s position as Queen will come down to the public’s opinion.
Public perception has long suggested Britain will not accept Camilla as Queen.

Regardless of the decision Camilla’s husband will be tasked with handing her the title whether it is the one he wants or not.
A poll in 2015 found 55 per cent of Britons believed the Duchess of Cornwall should not take the title of Queen.
But the Royal Butler says the British public now accept Camilla following years of controversy surrounding the Duchess and late Princess Diana.
The Royal Butler said:“I think the public opinion has moved now, they’ve accepted her.

“I know her really well – she’s so lovely and honest.
“There’s no glamour about her and she’s very nervous I admit that. She knows there can be a fine line with what happened with Diana.
“I know Prince Charles really does want her to become Queen. He has even got an operation underway to try and get her to be Queen!
“At the end of the day it comes down to the public opinion, and the Prince is hoping it comes towards to her.
“I know the Prince, he usually gets what he wants.”

In a signal of the Duchess of Cornwall’s elevated position in the Royal Family, the Queen promoted her to the Privy Council in June 2016.
Many interpreted the move as a signal Prince Charles intendeds to make her Queen Camilla.
When Prince Charles married Camilla in 2005, Clarence House said the Duchess of Cornwall would not become Queen when her husband takes the throne.
The official wedding announcement said: “It is intended that Mrs Parker Bowles should use the title HRH the Princess Consort when the Prince of Wales accedes to the throne.”
But in an apparent u-turn Clarence House no longer comments on what the Duchess of Cornwall’s title will be.
